ORIGINALLY POSTED IN OLD FORUM BY OBI 1 AL Just got this, it's a screen used barbarian shield from the battle of Germania opening sequence. It's a bit beaten up and has clearly done it's job onset, it looks like the middle section has taken a good hit with a sword. ![]() Here's the reverse side: ![]() Not sure how to display this, it's a really big piece. I think I'll wall-mount it. It's always a thrill though to own a little bit of movie magic, even if it has had hell unleashed upon it! I love that opening battle scene, it's one of my faves. ![]() I've wallmounted this piece in the 'Gladiator' corner of the TV room: ![]() There's a nice space underneath for the 1:1 Maximus bust.....;) It's made from canvas wrapped around a layered thin boarding inner, which has been laminated, with a willow ridge on the outer, tied on with leather loops and a wooden handle inside. The metal piece in the middle is actually painted and weathered plastic. |
