Excuse the photo, but does the distance between the end of the cocking slot to the end cap look ok ? The overall length of the gun barrel from the muzzle to the end cap is about 499/500 mm.

E-11 update shot. Scope and rail placed but not attached, ready for dismantle and paint, as I don't have wires and tubes to fit on the magazine section, I'm thinking of leaving the counter box off. I've got a folding stock to add to.
