Gladiator is a real favourite movie of mine
Not sure I would ever do the full cossie, but certainly been building up to a display type piece.
I collaboration with some others - this is finally, albeit slowly, coming together.
My part was to sculpt and cast the decorations Maximus puts on his armour

I got a real nice high def pic of his armour

Wow nice job Nate , what clay did you use for these?
You going to do the whole chestplate to mount them on as well?

I started with chavant stuff, but then just switched over to simple newplast cos of how small they were.

yeah, there are a few of up North working on it, theres a production used life cast of Crowe and the acutal cuirass bit being made up here by Al (ob1al) and phil (Cyberman) as the other collaborators. Although I must admit, that I am intrigued by leather versions of the cuirass........

any ways, if any u guys interested, lmk, they dont take much resin to pour? may be worth taking to next rpb prop table?

Thanks for the info Nate , yes some gladiator props would be most welcome on the display:)

Nice work there nate....I like working with le beau toche by chavant now for a lot of stuff dead easy to work with too.
