Just in case any of the young 'uns don't recognise it...yep a space 1999 commlock, the rather nifty key come mobile phone...now we know where they ripped this idea of the all singing and dancing Iphone from :P

As a fellow old git I remember these well, and it was a few years before star wars too !!
Nice job mate , and blindly shiny light goodness planned?
Maybe one of those keychain photo frames in the end :)

If your not already planning it I could have a go at the stun gun ?

Holy Keyfob Batman, I was thinking the same thing...especially as I have one right here....Yes mate you have a bash at the stun gun :-) I am trying to get ti done now but not having much success....I can mail you the blue prints I've got or the link to them if you'd like. Be nice to get this done for brit sci fi weekend

Yeah was thinking the same , would be great for that event and it's something I can do indoors . Blueprints and links be great mate :)

No slacking for me today....well late start as I was at a committee meeting until 1....but....tis nearly complete just a bit of sanding to smooth it all down

hinged the top just incase I can fathom out how to get a led screen thingywhatsit in there....looks spiffy now.

Next on the list of doings a federation trooper blaster....<could be a pistol as I am not sure of how much U shaped conduiting I've got for the grill things

looking sweet mate , definately be cool with a screen in :)

DIY places have a lot of plastic channels mate , they do a sliding track thats E shaped end on but you could cut off one channel to make a U section with a sharp stanley knife , score and snap .

Think B&Q is your best bet as not sure Wickes do it .

Cheers mate will have a butchers when I get a chance.

If I can't put a screen in i may just add a led in the back and bck light the "screen" so it looks like it's got something on it...bnetter than nought

Now thats a blast from the past--- As a kid I used to think the uniforms looked great-- Funny how the old memory puts rose coloured spectacles on things, haha.
That Comms lookin great by the way- still has a great look to it now, over 30 later...

Nearly there now...installed a little phot frame in there that will cycle through several apt photos...but need to work out a way to access the switiches inside it...hey ho I'll get there.
