immensely proud dad moment

my kids arent major SW fans, but they love the creative prop making process. They've seen me sculpting and scratch building stuff nwo for years, and always want to join in. Their current fav medium is Plasticine.

My eldest son is Pokemon mad, and a while ago he started on a little project. Now, hes only 6, and majorly critical of his own skill. Yes, mom did help along the way, but it is mostly his work.

the Pokemon he chose was this

he worked on it, perfected it. But then was disappointed that he couldnt finish and paint it (being plasticine and all). So in steps dad - and I molded and cast one for him. But the moment I pulled that first cast out - I had a immense rush of pride at his hard work. I know it aint perfect, but damn, I love it.

apologies for sounding like a very sad Dad.

Wow his first sculpt , for a 6 year old that's really good , following in dads footsteps I think :)

Keep at it with star wars Nate , my youngest is 7 now , it's taken a lot of hard work but finally star wars is better than Ben 10 ..... Finally he's seen the light !!!
