Hello guys!
Basically.. I haven't got much time to pull this one out of the bag.. and I need help.
I'm 16 so have limited funding.. and I do not like the StarWars storm trooper costumes that are for sale on the internet.. most of them (in my price range) are terrible, tacky, and cheap.
so, I've decided to create my own armour set!
Here's the niggle though.. I'm 16.. no experience... can anyone help me? PLEASE!
The idea was to have it ready for the first weekend of May, for a charity Fancy dress day at work (I work in Halfords, Bangor NW )
PLEASE HELP! thankyou! :D

Hey, Welcome to the board :)

I'm sure some of the guys will chime in soon, but I'll try to help until then. Other than sculpting and vaccum forming a set, the only other way I can think of is to use pepakura. Pepakura is easy, yet time consuming with all the fiberglassing and sanding. I'm using this method to make a set of mini Scout armour for my 7 year old for Free Comic Book Day here in the states, it's the first weekend in May as well :)

If you decide you want to give it a try, let me know and I can send you the stormtrooper files. I have two different sets. You'll also need the pepakura designer or viewer program and a lot of cardstock :D
