About three weeks ago, myself lee s and my daughter claire was out walking my dogs benji and ben, when lee suggested he show us a grave yard where i have never been before (rawmarsh graveyard). The graveyard sempt somewhat eerie, and i know that to many a graveyard would feel eerie, but to me a graveyard doe's not normally feel like the one at rawmarsh did that night. On first approaching the graveyard, all sempt calm and peaceful and not scarey in the least, 'however' on going down the gravel path which runs through the centre of the graveyard, i began to feel uneasy and the further down the path i got, the more uneasy i felt. We began to reach the bottom of the path when my throat felt as if it was tighteningand, i felt a sense of choking as if being hanged. Lee S then pointed to a wide oak tree with one of it's thick branches laying on the leafy floor of the graveyard, he informed me that this was said to be a hanging tree to which i was amazed to learn. Although we have many video's of various ghost hunts and locations, i can honestly say i have never done this one with Pr, nor have i ever investigated it with anyone else. Im sure Pr will invest this graveyard again in the near future and this time i will be investigating it with them, as i have a feeling theres lots more there than meets the eye. That night in question i also thought i had seen a shaddow pass through the trees further up the graveyard, but i cannot swear to this as it may have been due to tiredness or something, as i was'nt feeling 100% at the time. Lee asked me if it was a black shaddow to which i replied ''no it was white'', lee then informed me that both himself and an ex Pr member had also thought they too had seen a white shaddow years before. Being as this was not an invest and was only a walk with the dogs, we desided to leave the graveyard and go elsewhere. If anyone else has had any of these experiences or witnessed anything or knows anything of this graveyard, it would be interesting to hear your stories. As i understand, it is said that i am not the only person to have felt and experienced these things, so if anyone has anything to add, then please do so as this place is very interesting. thankyou cazzel. :ph43r:

I did my training night with PR at that graveyard caz and i had a couple of experiences myself (as did Rach i believe). Towards the bottom end of the graveyard i suddenly got a feeling nausea to the point where i wanted to be sick and i also so a shadow move past a bush but this was a black shadow and not a white one as you have mentioned. |

Wow thats amazing, thanx for that nick. Well it's more or less the same thing, is'nt it?, which proves to me that the graveyard has something more to it. Thanx 4 sharing that nick, Lee S did tell me afterwards that others had felt it too. lol

if your talking about grave yard on rawmarsh hill , I have been there almost every night in my younger days, when out walking my dog rex. now every visit there i saw big larg white owl, it did its hunting in that grave yard. after time this owl did not show and one ov my freinds told me it was dead, and people say it still fly as ghost , maybe this is the white shadow reported by most people, and my dog rex one time was realy scared e-was barking round this grave and all of sudden e went running out grave yard on his own,now thats funny. and next time we went there e was always pulling away from that grave. and if eny one remembers this owl from rawmarsh, they know what i talking about. |

A topic I have not posted on yet, how very lacking of me. Rawmarsh Graveyard throw up something everytime we go there. I have been there loads of times with PR and even on training nights as well and there is always something different. Recently a lot of the graves have been removed due to being unsafe so this may disturb the resting dead as there are reports about removal of headstones unresting spirits. |

Well we should find out which grave the dog didn't like, go back and investigate it further and also try to find out more about the place |

LeeS does want to do a proper investigation there as we have only done bits and pieces there and not a lot of write up about it. |

yeah but i think most visits there in the past have been for training nights so it's just for new members to get a feel for what PR does so not much organisation is required |

That graveyard is deffo a place that i know will have a feel to it everytime as the feeling i got there, was so strong that almost anyone would feel it..apart from a sceptical minded person, who doe's not allow them selfs to open up. We should deffo do this 1 as a group. Also i have found another interesting place, not far off lee s and it's a place i was really drawn to and is just oozing with history. I will tell u more of this when we next av a meeting, as i do not know the name of it. lol. :ph43r:

I once put a compass up against the tree in rawmarsh church yard and it spun round widley. If You Look closely at some of the branches you can see the rope marks. I always feel as though i am being chocked there. The very last time I went There were ghostly children singing by the tree. It is the only church yard I have been in with a true hanginh tree. Many cliam to have one, but that one is defo true. |

That with the compass is on the pr web site somewhere I think. It was a very early pr investigation. Not sure if we caught it spinning on camera though, but it defo went mental. Compasses react to emf just like the K2 meter, and before the K2 meter was invented to make chost hunters life's easier the compass is what was used. It is very old school, but then again so am I LOL and sometimes the old ways are the best!!!!! It did it on a couple of graves too if I remeber right. U'll ave to ask Lee S he was there LOL |

Compass uses magnetic north, which obvousley creates a mangetic field round the earth hence how a compass works. Anything that interferes with the magnetic field will disrupt the compass. POLARITY REVERSED then we would be in trouble! old school is sometimes the best way to do things i agree. |

Am still trying to figure out how to set the arm up without it moving (even slightly) But i really think it would work and i would love to try it!! I just need the gubbins. got the table (if it dont move of its own acord again LOL) and a spirit level and that. Just need a two ended clamp that is long enough and flexible enough to hold the pendulm in place over the table. If anyone knows if such a thing exsits and where i can get one from I would be ever so gratefull!!! I would like to give me evp experiment another whirl too but with a few 360 degree mikes etc!!!! One day eh? |

I wander if u could use a piece of wire that was securely fixed to the table and bent over toward the centre of the table, upright with a bend in the wire, making a hook shape to attatch your pendlum to. That's if u get my drift, i ought to be able to draw it as i can picture it in my head now. Mind u.... u can't win coz even if the pendlum moved after that, the sceptics would just say ''the wind is blowing it''. lol.

that's right Caz, pendulums are a very very difficult way of proving activity |

Thats why i want to use a clamp. Sturdy u see. I can ss where u r comming from cos i can see it in my head too LOL. The spirit level will be on the table and a smaller one attached to the clamp to prove that niether the clamp nor table is moving, like when ppl walk near it etc. If it in an indoor experiment where u can prove no draughts, and the spirit levels dont move, but the pendulum swings madly with no human contact, i think it would prove something lol. It would look good at any rate LOL |

If it swung after all that, it would'nt be proof as everyone would about run and cease filming pmsl. That's the prob wi most haunted, they spend hours trying to catch sumert, then 'like those legs at druery lane' they ran like hell and camera got nowt. I think it was druery lane where yvette claimed to have seen them legs... then screamed an ran like hell with the rest of the crew behind em.(hence no video footage of it). |
