A girl know as the Mexbrough Ragger is said to haunt the tunnel of cadeby,
The story goes that she was hit by a train while bringing some water back home. If you call her name 3 times in the 3rd arch way, she is meant to walk the tunnel once again.

Cadeby Tunnel is near Conisbrough on the former South Yorkshire Junction Railway. The tunnel is 164 yards long, originally built around 1894, closed to freight in 1964.

It was part of a series of rail netowrks at the time called the South Yorkshire Junction Railway, crossing a series of main central lines. This part of the track was used to move coal and men between Denaby Main and Cadeby Colliery, it was a single track line.
