Read tutorials! www.planetrenders.net/forums That's where I learnt alot from, nice forum community too. You can't always use your own ideas, well it's good to. But learn other things from other artists and put them into your own signatures. Get everything you need. Make a signature in your spare time for practice. I've made over 200 signatures (not only for this thread) and it took me about 5-6 months to actually get in full swing with photoshop. Tutorials are the answer. I forgot to mention. PSDS! Download them, learn from them. See how the layers were created and try to input the techniques into your own sigs. But don't layer rip which is taking a layer from a PSD and putting it into your own signature which is classed as layer ripping. Tutorials and PSD's are the way to go.
