Well, they are BETTER, but not really good actually. You probably just throwed some random effects in it, but I don't think that's the right thing to do..
In signatures, it would be wise to make a background that fits the render and text, not just throw some random stuff in it.

None of them to be honest. First of all, they're all red. Secondly, my advice would be to not have 'backgrounds'. What I mean by that is that the background should somehow be created 'naturally', perhaps from the render or something similar. A way to create your background from your render (I don't do this much anymore, but it's good if you're starting off), is to duplicate it, merge it with the bottom layer and duplicate again until it fills the whole screen (yes, the same render). Then apply a motion blur and then a splatter from the Filters menu. Then you can play around and do something like brush over it with some abstract or fractal brushes and then set it to overlay - just something I do, you don't need to, depends on what you want to do. There are lots of other ways to create backgrounds as well, but backgrounds should flow and be part of the signature, not explicitly separate, or otherwise they just look like crap.

I hope I made sense...if you need help don't hesitate to reply.

what i suggest when making your first signature, make a black background, then find a background that is the same sorta colour that u want ur signature to be , then paste it over the top and turn the opacity down to make it dark. after this find a abstract sorta render, and put that in then opactiyt down n all that shiz, make it look good.then put whatever else you want in, and try n blend it in.

this probs made no sense, but that mainly how i make my siggys :)

Something I may have forgot to mention: use around 20px of motion blur - not too much.

Background would look better like that. At the moment there's too much motion blur.

An OK start though.

Base your background around the render not the otherway around. I usually Enhance the render then for the background add a background i might want to use if not create one using clouds, gradient blurs, make my own glow effects. Then add some gradient maps to make them fit togethor, also You want to use the right text with your signature doesnt look good without a good font.

This is what you get when you feed the trolls.
Not bad for a start.Don't use the same damn font for all the signatures,be creative.I learned that quite some time ago, from my mistakes.A bad font in a good signature can ruin all the goodness of it,trust me.
Try making them smaller too.Big signatures = bad idea.
And also, take notice to the above recommendations ,they are really helpful,by people who know what they say.
