Pray for Peace, Prepare for Combat
|
Helly's Edit-GOOD XP AND MONEY TRAINING METHODS Attack- Train through Slayer.- I always agree with this however if you are not a slayz0r, one of the best methods i know to train is at Armoured Zombies (speed+ if you pickup main drops, money [PS i completely regret powering 99 strength and would not suggest it to anyone]) or at green dragons... I know this sounds nooby, however i can get an easy 50k combat (att str def) xp per hour and upwards of 400k gp... this is also a great free way to train your Prayer stat. Strength- Train through slayer.^ Defence-Train through slayer.^ Hitpoints- Train through slayer. - With hitpoints, while i was trying out all the advice rock gave in this guide, i chinned 112k hp xp in 1.5 hours, this may be a big loss in money but if you want that untrimmed hp, this is the easiest way to gain loads of xp. Range- Red chinchompas (Monkeys on ape atoll) RECCOMENDED: 80+ - When training Ranged, i have done everything out there to see what is the fastest, and Chinning is definetly #1, however i would suggest not doing this if you are a diehard ranger or someone who doesnt want to spend 50m on 99 Ranged.... I have found that using knives or darts on your slayer tasks is epic xp! people usualy train using Cbow, and i discovered that you can get you tasks over with much faster using knives or darts, equating to much more xp! (try this out yourself, i managed 95k xp on my best hour) naturally this depends on your slayer task, as you are not going to use knives on dragons or other tasks like that and get very good xp. Prayer- Frost bones on gilded altar > Dragon bones.- If you are a low level player, you may think that getting the elusive 70 prayer is out of your reach, but it really is not a big deal to get. As i said in the Combat section, if you camp for dragon bones, you can get enough dragon bones for 70 in less than 4 or 5 days! In my opinion, prayer is far to overpriced at the moment, and jagex did a terrible job with both the herblore and prayer updates and caused massive inflation of both the skills. Magic- Superheating golds ores.- I agree with this if you are boosting your Mining stat, however if you are looking for the fastest route to 99, you have two options which both equate to 250k xp per hour+: you can either string amulets on the Lunar Spellbook, or Burst/Barrage on the Ancient Spellbook (i suggest at Nechrayel [80 slayer] or Mummies in the Chaos Tunnels. Cooking- Bake pie > Rocktails > Sharks.- not much to add here other than if you are after a cheaper gp/xp, you should fish and then cook Monkfish at the Piscatoris Fishing Colony. Woodcutting- Powering teaks with adze while fletching bolts > sawmill > IVY. - Here i understand what Rock is saying, however when i did 99 wc, i averaged 60k per hour powering teaks and 80k per hour doing ivy. just a suggestion. if you want fm xp aswell, they using the adze is definetly in your best interests. Fletching- Adamant arrows > adamant bolts > magic longbows- Bolts are great because you can do them while you are doing anything, for example i fletched bolts while i was chinning on ape atoll, aswell as while i soloed tormented demons. Fishing- Barbarian power fishing. RECOMMENDED: 70+ fishing. - before 70 fishing, reccomend you fish at either monkfish or at shilo village. After 85 fishing, i have spoken to all my friends and they all suggest going to cavefish and then to rocktails, because they are not bad xp aswell as excellent money. Firemaking- Burn yew logs(if you make money fast)/Magic logs (if you make money insanely fast)/Maples if you runecraft for money or slower method.- No Changes here unless you have loads of time on your hands to do willows. Crafting- dragonstone gems > Black dragonhide bodies > Green dragonhide bodies.- only addition is use SC needles to decrease the cost of 99. Smithing- Superheating gold ores.- for money, cannonballs, if you are powering, do this highest platebody you can, usually average 150k an hour with steel plates Mining- mine gold ores (Living rock caverns)- For all levels preceeding living rock caverns, i suggest powering granite in the desert with the humidify spell on the Lunar Spellbook, or powering iron in a high population world at the east ardougne mining spot. Herblore- Extremes then overloads.- Super Attacks untill 80, then i suggest stewing Spec Recovers, they are moderately expensive aswell as extremely fast experience. Agility- Barbarian advanced course.- before this, ape atoll is slightly slower than the wilderness course, but if you have agility brawlers, each lap is almost 3k exp at the wildy course!!!! Thief- Pyramid plunder.- Safes in the burthope theives guild before 80, PP to 90, the pickpocket dwarf merchants in keldagrim for 99, they are same exp as PP, but a small cash increase and do not need to bank/use bunyip/drop items/use antipoisons Slayer- Cannon and piety/turmoil every task. You won't be able to cannon every task however, so just cannon whenever you can. MASTER: Kuradal.- Nothing to add here other than even if you get bored, finish your task and get another, and you will be occupied for hour if you are continually looking forward, and not allowing yourself to focus on your boredom, but stay focused and even the 230+ tasks can go by quickly! Farming- Herbs, palm trees & Magic trees.- This is a very expensive way to train, if you are on a lower budget, use Maples/Willows and Pineapple Trees aswell as doing your herbs every 45 minutes. Runecrafting- ZMI- I am level 80 Runecrafting and i have only ZMIED levels 35-56. i find it much more entertaining to use the abyss, and the added cash bonus is great too! only downside is that i average only 17k xp regardless of the rune per hour.... although nearly 500k cash per hour! Hunter- 80+ Red chinchompas. 95+ black warlocks.- YEP haha preceeding this, all of the salamanders are great xp per hour for their levels. also if you are looking for huge money, Impetuous Impulses is 1M+ per hour yet only about 50k xp per hour. Construction- Mahogany tables > Oak dungeon doors.- Oak Larders if you are a lower construction level. Just do what ever is the highest level thing which uses the most planks, because each plank has a set xp value (you could make a peice of furniture which uses 2 planks and get 100xp, and you could make a peice of furniture which uses 10 planks and get 500xp....[50xp per plank]), so the more planks you use at once, the more xp you will gain per hour. Summoning- Get charms through slayer- Here i will say that Tormented Demons are amazing summoning xp per hour, as they drop blue charms frequently. if you are powering for charms, Bursting Rock Lobsters or camping waterfiends are excellent charms. Also a little known fack is that the Wallaski in the Waterbirth dungeon are frequent blue charm droppers, and wre quite worth a try if you have never tried them before (although only with a ranged or stab weapon!!). TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE FAMILIARIZATION MINIGAME!!!!!! Helly |

To anyone wondering about herblore training: There's a super epic calculator on tip.it. You enter in your RS name and target lvl and it will show you the number of potions of each type you need to make and the min-max price of making each type. Click here. |
