It only crashes because most pkers are drama queens that over-react to the tiniest little change made to pking, claiming it's PKing Armageddon. If people only sold their items because they genuinely weren't going to use them, rather than because they think the prices are going to drop, there would be practically no change in the prices. It's very little to do with the updates themselves, much more the attitudes of a lot of players anytime they alter PKing. The multiple benefits of this update far outweigh the disadvantages IMO. |

like me, i got ags full bandos dfs, i didnt sell no shit because people is going to use them and they cant drop way too much like from 80m ags to 40m, its not gonna happen! when they are low merch clan will defo kicks and and buy them out |

this update makes it easier to 26k and dosent affect pjs much but one items will disapear i think its pretty shit now me n like 10 mates stuck with crashing ags well fucking done jagex |

I find this funny as hell tbh. Everyone talking about crashing prices when you only lose money if u sell it  . As for pkers, this is as close to real pking any of you has ever seen, and this is nothing compared to rsc pking. I think this is a lovely update

I think this update is bullshit overall I'm okay with the you skull when you enter but adding that u can't use protect prayer is just really pointless. But whatever, I don't PvP as much as I used too.. Onto my bossing and slaying fad. |

Anyone have any cream for my ass? I got raped tbh, bought claws last night for 36m and within 12 hours they're crashing. I only bought them to kill mages while I get potential. 26king is just 76king now which i'll still do once pvp and bh worlds calm down. From what i've seen the number of pjers has actually increased (even i tried claws and verac). 1 week straight of 26king to get claws and if prices carry on this way it's gonna be worthless doing it all. I guess that's what I get for using fast cash methods. Gonna start skilling now anyway. Overall doesn't bother me too much, i'll just spend all my cash on skills and stay poor again

tbh, i think this is stupidest update jagex have ever done, well maybe apart from taking away wilderness. basically every type of pker uses something 100k+ to ko with, unless you are hardcore with ddp, this is just gunna get rid of all pures unless they are uber rich because most are gunna lose either d scim every death, or a g maul, which sucks for us poor ppl

jagex hates pures bottom line when rsc switched to rs2 all the pures gained atleast 10 lvls and most quit. there for they hate pures

I can see where the balance was needed but this kind of defeated that purpose imo. Now a lot of pking methods can't be used and 26king is just as easy now except with 76k, which some people used anyways. Pking nerfed; the only people that will use very high value equipment will safe/pray [don't plan on actually risking it], and 26k is now 76k |

not all dhers are welfare tho. some non-skulled dhers risk alot. i dont pk much like i used to but if i did want to i cant really use the style i like using, I.E whip, vesta, statius, etc. if it's corrupt then thats ok. i never usually liked d scim + dds pking cuz i never hit as high as i would like to with dds: my best spec was 26-28, as compared with vesta spear i hit like 40s and maxed a 49 w/ stat hammer w/o spec. people like 1 Rock God, who like high risk pking in like skulled dharok, dfs, vls, whip, ags, etc etc, they won't be able to pk like they want to anymore unless they have no problem risking 10m+ gear. PROS: - No 1 itemers - No pjers - Less 76kers (sort of a CON also cuz some people live on 76king *cough Cwalth cough* )CONS: - No more AGS/claws pking unless you don't mind losing them - Little to no high risk pking unless you're maging with a team, and I LOVE watching high risk pkers - Less 76king, cuz some people *cough Cwalth cough* only go to PvP/BH for that - Prices crash: I noticed the godswords, claws, and g maul are going down: strangely the sigils and their shields are going up o.O. I'm surprised the Arcane Spirit Shield isn't going down because of its +30 Magic Attack bonus The only thing Jagex took away was pretty much SOME Pjers, SOME rushers, and SOME PKers. There's still going to be Pjing/Rushing because they can just use DDS like some people already do. Jiglojay's an example of this, if you watched his latest video you'll see he pops a 42-42 DDS spec in vesta w/ dds + rune defender. Obviously, the chances of this happening are 1/1000+, but it shows that you CAN still PJ/Rush, just with DDS. As for the Dh pkers, I doubt you'll see much of them because 90% of them don't skull cuz they'll lose their helm if they die which is like 5m+, so Dharoks and possibly Veracs are going to crash, I'm PREDICTING. This update might've taken away some small parts of PvP/BH, but it makes an BIG impact on how people PK/Pj/Rush now. It's a bit similar to Sara GodWars in a way because Sara got nerfed so many times so people had to come up with more and more ways of killing her efficiently, possible even using Melee while soloing despise her lightning-fast hits. Now, people have to change their style of pking to adapt to the new "environment" that Jagex shoved in our faces. This is very similiar like Old Bounty Hunter only you're ALWAYS penalized and no craters: OBH vs. PvP/BH today: OBH: - Skull on entry - Penalized when you don't kill your targ or you kill your hunter - Pro item cut off when penalized - Craters PvP/Bh today: - Skull on entry - NOT penalized for not killing your targ or hunter but in this case, you're always skulled. - Pro item cut off at all times - No Craters This is the longest post I've ever had . and seriously, who's gonna read ALL of this... if you do I'll bake you a 24 cookie batch of the type(s) of cookie of your choosing BUT you must prove that you read ALL of this before you get your cookies, hehehe Edited by Ambiguity, Jul 16 2009, 04:39 AM.
