First off, all combat familiars will now follow you into a fight much more promptly. We’ve also updated the Summoning status globe (the button near the minimap) so that you can configure what happens when you left-click on it. One of the many options will allow you to send your familiar into action against an NPC (or another player on a PvP World) with just one quick click.

If you want a place to keep your pets, you can now do this with a new room for Construction - the menagerie. It’s a pet-owned house to complement your player-owned one, if you will, in which you can store a number of fully grown pets of any kind. You could create a haven for all three god birds, for instance, or build your very own little dragons’ den.

While we’re on the subject of houses, your butler has learned when it’s time to talk and when it’s time to get on with it. So, when you are training and need the same materials you just used, you won’t need to explain what you’re after. If they come back from the bank with logs, you can send them straight to the sawmill. And if the butler’s payment is due and you don’t have any money on you, they can fetch it from your bank the next time you send them there. They also follow you around unless told otherwise. Other features include a ‘Make-x’ option for flatpack furniture and teleport tablets, and some options for the Teleport to House spell. You can set the spell to deposit you outside your house’s portal or into your house (with building mode switched on or off). More details for these updates can be found on the Knowledge Base.

In other news...

All longswords, as well as the rune and dragon scimitars, have received a slight graphical adjustment, as well as having their inventory icons modified to match.

In a similiar fashion to Soul Wars and the Fishing Trawler minigames, we've added an activity bar to the Great Orb Project. As expected, your activity is maintained when contributing, but if the bar drops too low you'll be removed from the game.

Finally, one of the best things about your menagerie is that any pets housed within it do not count towards your pet limits, so you will be able to get more than one of the same type of pet. Imagine: a volcanic habitat with a desecrated pet house, home to four baby dragons (one of each colour)! It's the dream of many pet owners and an impressive menagerie to boot.

WOOOOOOT! THANK YOU!!
This means I can have all baby dragons and all god birds now!! :@

i wouldn't trust the menagerie just yet because a bug might be discovered that deletes all your pets
but summon obelisk in house= win

Thats ironic, because that means Graardor will be the hardest gwd boss now.
Since he can hit up to 60 with melee, if he switches target after using a ranged attack, wich can hit up to 35, that could be an instant k.o. for anyone lol (95 damage). People pray range anyway so that will hardly happen, still a 60 hit out of nowhere can be dangerous, best strategy now should be range from a distance and switch to melee pray when you see him coming. I see Graardor will be more for tankers/rangers now.

Hi,

We have not made any deliberate changes to Bandos, however, recent combat/summoning changes may have effected it.

We are currently monitoring it.

So it seems like it's just a bug.

All tho this update happened on accident, i think Jagex should keep it as it is. runescape needs to be less "click prayer and watch you kill the monster" type of game!

Bandos will go up, that's true because now there's going to be less noobs there and it takes more 'skill' to kill the boss!

a mistake like this can go a long way, jagex is considering peoples feedback and most people consider bandos to be a 'high level' boss to kill now.

I just hope they consider doing this to future bosses as well and no more "click range prayer and watch you kill it" kind of bosses.

overall if jagex keeps bandos how it is, i'd give them a 10/10 for there 'mistake' XD.

A lot of high level people wanted bosses like this, so let's hope jagex can make 'high level content' the high level it's suppose to be.

Praying a certain protection prayer and watching you kill a boss with a team of players, isn't exactly a 'high level' update to me.

if jagex wants to name something, high level, then they should make it really hard for high level players and not something an average team of 100+ combat players can kill just because you can pray a protection prayer.

bosses need to more hard and keep the players aware of what's happening, sorta like the corporeal beast kinda hard, where you always need to be aware of what's happening during the fight.

Let's hope the future of rs brings real high level content in now, and no more joke bosses that require you to pray one type of protection prayer.

If jagex wants to consider something a high level update, they better start making them high level...

Never argue with an idiot, they will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
i think the bandos thing has to do with the familar update where they atk him more now. So if you have a bunyip or a uni your safe. ^_^ and id also think that if you sent your familiar to attack a minion this wouldnt happen, kinda easy to get through it : )

I said, with the change they made, it will be, not that he is or he was the hardest ;)
