![]() Idea: I was granted a portion of my step-fathers web server to host, and manage my own website. I've been contemplating my own graphic arts site over the past few years. This is the perfect oppurtunity for me to gain not only Photoshop, and art experience; but also internet management and experience! Concept: The website will be named MAXgfx. It will be based on designing, teaching, and photography. Not only will the site have resources of graphics, but also actual images the designers of the site have made, but also teachings from those designers. Setup: I've decided to make it a blog based website like PSDtuts, or Sigtutorials. I will be designing a template, and hopefully Maniac will encode the site. I will be asking various artists not only from this site, but other sites as well. The site will include many projects that can be included by the artists, and included in the site. There will also be a forum for discussion of everything a forum includes, but also profiles' for posting on the blog posts. Noting the following above, please PM for information about your participation in the site, and hopefully helping us out! Please confirm any information with me. Any suggestions are supported!

Sounds good to me. If you're making a blog, I just need to install Wordpress for you - no need to 'encode' the site. Also, looks like you might have some competition from 5n00py2's Insane(G)FX.

By encode, I meant making it functional. Also, I'll be paying for advertisement with sites such as PSDtuts and Signature Stop. Snoopy, I'll definitely link back to your site. Just no hostility.

dw i've sorted out my hosting and domain ideas already, might just get a free host for the first month or so then if its doing good enough i'll pay for that and domain if not then i'll spend a while getting more advertisement and adknowledgement so i'd atleast make some back from advertisement on my site. |
