Good/Bad update, no strong opinion really. Funny I just played this 2 days before the update  .I like what they did for Soul Wars, gf afkers. I plan on playing this again soon for the new stuff because I have level 5 in all roles  ! Then again I have to ditch wraith for a while, maybe that can wait

Seems like a cool update. I think I'll go get Penance skirt & Runner boots for that prayer recharging set bonus, wonder what the rate of recharge is.  Also it'll be cool if the horn is actually worth getting for 2x xp, I'd rather play that than train agility. :p |

I happen to know a way to free load... if you die while in SW then your bar goes up to full... GF jagex in other news they raised the defence boost of a torso |

Seems like an ok update, but I still don't really like BA. I haven't played it for a while, but it just seems so easy now and gets boring pretty quick. The prayer restore for full penance doesn't seem all that great, It could be useful in some places, but I can't think of any. Armour with decent prayer bonuses would be better if praying, so it's uses will be very limited. Also can't believe they removed all the bonuses from the penance equipment, that was the main reason most people even went in the first place. Seems counter productive if they're trying to encourage people to play the minigame. Not tried the horn yet, but it should be ok for mining. It's not faster xp overall from what I've heard (even if you're fast at BA) but at least it's a break from mining. I think they should ease up on the xp boosts a bit though, training the skill how it is meant to be trained should always give faster xp than alternate methods IMO. |

Anyone know if you get 4X the exp with sc pickaxe and this new horn or do they not stack. It would be awesome if they did, especially if you had brawlers too

Tried them out today, they stack but you get 3x xp. Pickaxes don't last very long either, seem to last for the same amount of xp, which you reach quicker with the horn. Horn is pretty decent, you can store quite a lot of xp in it, but you don't get BA ranks when charging it. |

Definitely using the horn for Agility exp, about 3/4 filled right now. I recall Ava saying the horn lasts for ~1.6M exp worth of 2x and it fills up pretty quickly for me since I'm lvl 5 in everything, but for the time being I'm getting the rest of the Penance armor which I have already all I'm missing is a helm. Right now I have the Ranger helm but after all Penance helm stats were changed to Rune Full Helms I decided to get the trident instead (1/60 chance of casting a spell without runes, for each rune used) because it looks nice. I find it a lot more fun but only with the right members as a team which isn't that often  . Still doing my share of Barbarian Assault on the way to 99 Agility that I was supposed to get ~2 years ago . (On their FAQ on the RSOF they did mention returning Penance hat stats to how they were and having a space for them in the Costume room [although I faintly remember seeing a space in the Armor case some time ago])
