Pooping in mid-air
|
I killed exactly 1000 K'ril Tsutsaroth for this information. Every single drop was acquired from soloing. DROPS Key: ITEM - #of drops in 1000 - Drop rate(1 per) 20k Coins - 296 - 3.378 80 Blood Runes - 68 - 14.70 Rune Scimitar - 66 - 15.15 3 Lantadyme Seeds - 64 - 15.62 3 Zam Brew + Sup Rest - 63 - 15.87 3 Super Attack + Str - 61 - 16.39 Adamant Platebody - 61 - 16.39 120 Death Rune - 59 - 16.94 300 Adamant Arrow(p++) - 56 - 17.85 Rune Platelegs - 49 - 20.40 10 Grimy Lantadyme - 48 - 20.83 Dragon Dagger(p++) - 17 - 58.82 Steam Battlestaff - 14 - 71.42 Loop Half of a Key - 12 - 83.33 Tooth Half of a Key - 10 - 100 Uncut Sapphire - 8 - 125 Zamorakian Spear - 8 - 125 Nothing - 7 - 142.8 65 Nature Runes - 4 - 250 42 Rune Arrows - 3 - 333.3 Godsword Shard 1 - 3 - 333.3 Uncut Emerald - 3 - 333.3 Uncut Ruby - 3 - 333.3 Godsword Shard 2 - 2 - 500 Rune 2H Sword - 2 - 500 Rune Battleaxe - 2 - 500 Rune Sword - 2 - 500 100 Silver Ore - 1 - 1000 45 Law Runes - 1 - 1000 45 Death Runes - 1 - 1000 5 Rune Javelins - 1 - 1000 Dragon Med Helm - 1 - 1000 Dragon Spear - 1 - 1000 Dragonstone - 1 - 1000 Rune Spear - 1 - 1000 Zamorak Hilt - 1 - 1000 Godsword Shard 2 - 0 - N/A I do not know if the Hilt rate I got is accurate or not. I believe that I was just unlucky in obtaining more than one. The drop rate for a hilt is probably a lot higher than 1:1k but I cannot say for sure. I believe that the Steam Battlestaff and the Zamorakian Spear have essentially the same drop rate. I think I was just unlucky in receiving more Staffs than Spears. If this is true, I would have received 22 boss specific drops in 1000 kills. That is equal to a drop every 45.45454545 kills. About 1:45. I think that about every 45 kills, you should receive a boss specific drop. Which one you get is dependent on another odd. Since Zammy only has 2 boss specific drops (not counting hilt atm) you have a 50% chance of getting either one. Example: You kill 44 Zammy bosses. On your 45th kill, you should receive a boss specific drop. Now, you have a 50% chance of getting a Steam Battlestaff and a 50% chance of getting a Zamorakian Spear. Lets say you get a spear. YAY! In another 45 boss kills you are due another boss drop. This time you get a Steam Battlestaff. BOO! I believe they have the same exact drop rate. I believe the reason I received more steams was sheer bad luck. I also believe this drop rate is true for all other gwd bosses. Although the others have different amounts of boss specific drops. Example: You kill 45 Bandos Bosses. This means you should get a boss specific drop. Because Bandos has 3 boss specific drops(not counting hilt again) your chances are different. You have a 33% chance of getting each item, BCP, Tassets, and Boots. The above is also true for Armadyl because she also has 3 boss specific drops. It is different for Saradomin tho. Example: You kill 45 Sara bosses. You should now get a boss specific drop. Since Sara only has 1 drop, the SaraSword, You have a 100% chance of getting it! This is why SS's seem much more common in long trips. They are the only drop she has. Now I know what you're thinking. This is all BS. Well, it's the information I gathered from soloing only 1 boss 1000 times. Just because the drop rate says you should receive a drop every 45-50 kills DOES NOT MEAN you will get one. This is an average. I sometimes went as long as 150 kills without a boss specific drop. Others I know of have killed upwards of 2-300 without a drop. Luck plays a HUGE roll in this. Just because you kill a boss the same amount of times as I do, does not mean that you will receive the same number of drops that I did. This being said, there are also times when the opposite is true. Sometimes I would get 2-3 items in less than 30 kills. There is no 100% sure way to know what the drop rate is but we can gather information like this and create theorys and averages. If there is any other information you would like to know, please ask. NOTE: This is not a guide thread. I don't think I will be making a Zammy Solo guide so don't ask please. |
