Best money making dragon melee; best drag for cash

After spending 60 minutes killing each dragon in Runescape (including metals but excluding the slayer dragon, Skeletal Wyver ) I have drawn the conclusion that blue dragons are the best dragons for cash/hr. Here are the results for the amount of money made from each dragon excluding the costs.

Green dragons: 287,000
Blue dragons: 377,000
Red dragons: 273,000
Black dragons: 341,000
Brutal Green dragons: 321,000
King Black dragon: 323,000

Bronze dragons: 265,000
Iron dragons: 334,000
Steel dragons: 286,000
Mithril dragons: 284,000

As you can see blue dragons are the most profitable of the 10 types of dragons tested. Sure if you were to get a visage, dragon full helm or dragon plate legs as a drop it would be entirely more profitable than blue dragons but since I didn't I can't exactly say that they were :-/ . Many variables came into play with this testing also; the banking speed, speed of the kill, and amount of kills available. I tested the green dragons in the area to the east of clan wars and found a bitch load of pures cannoning the dragons making it harder to get kills. (Also revs come and own you :P) When I tested red dragons in the Brimhaven Dungeon I found the banking speed to be tremendously slow and then with the terror dogs attacking me hard to get kills. Black dragons were very good though for meleeing and banking but the kills were also slow. (For all people who intend on meleeing their black dragon slayer tasks just remember the recipe for disaster quest ;) ) Brutal green dragons and black dragons were pretty equal other than the restocking on supplies part. Brutals being right next to water fiends didn't help them at all. Surely they drop 2 green hides instead of 1 but banking speed also cuts down the money made in an hour. And last but not least the King Black dragon. The kill speed was pretty good, nothing extra to attack you. The drops were also occasionally good too. But oh yea bank speed was horrid. (unless you can tele to the rune ore to the north ;) ) I averaged around 5 tries on the obelisks each trip to teleport to KBD's layer and then with the occasional rev tele block it would not be a happy day in the wilderness.
Now onto the Metals. Bronze not only failed with the longish kills but the banking speed made it even worse. Iron dragons were much better than bronze dragons cash wise and you also have the ability to camp there but once again the banking speed brought down the amount of money made per hour. Steels were better than bronze dragons for cash but the slow kill rate/banking speed also hurt it. Irons ended up being better because of the faster kills. Mithril dragons were possibly the worst of the 10 other than the occasional good drop. Due to there power in magic and melee they chew up your food supply rather quickly forcing you to bank rather often.
And now for the many good aspects of Blue dragons. Lets start with the bank speed. If your house is in Taverly and you have a sufficient amount of glories, law, air and earth runes then your set for banking. (Also if you have an alter inside your house you can use piety/chivalry/what ever prayer you see fit to use for a little while) 70 agility also helps for the pipe shortcut but if you don't that then your going to need a sufficient amount of dusty keys. (Not having 70 agility will make your banking speed 30 seconds longer but that probably wouldn't hurt you too much) If you're level 96+ then there's nothing to attack you but if you're not then you might be eaten by babies. (Baby Blue dragons that is ;) ) Out of all of my trips to blue dragons i have only run into a person using a cannon once. (I've done about 60 which is a lot if you think about it) Most of the time there's only 1 other person at blue dragons. If your lucky there's no one, if your unlucky there's 3 but I can usually pull off getting 2/3 re-spawns if there's 2-3 people there :).
This testing was just for cash but I did also find that Blue dragons were better for the xp because they were the second lowest level and the the King Black dragon was the best for charms. Hope this helps anyone that still actually kills dragons XD.

Ohai.
Hmm, the money you make from dragons per hour depends on equipment/inventory used, actually. What did you use?

Yup. I'm a tree.
Thats not right nadrew for 2 reasons 1) I can make upwards of 500k an hour at blue drags and 2) I highly doubt that the actual money generated from killing them would be a round number such as those. (generated = profit not subtracting costs)

you should include your inv setup for each dragon and the location that you killed them at
