well either the grand exchange is fucked or none of this stuff is trade able
if it isnt jagex is fucking retarded
why make so many items and have them not be tradeable
gonna wait a lil bit to start so i dont loose any xp/lvs
lol.. easy, so you have to work for it, most of the game is already buyable
I agree summers
yeah if they were tradeable no one would train it theyd just wait and buy it
yeah, and I'm gonna die if I even THINK of how expensive they will be..

ik but some of them need a dungeoneering level tp wield
so tbh those could be trade able
also even though they would be hella expensive, they'd defo be worth the cash
tbh its like the farseer shield thats almost as good as arcane/spec

Then get an arcane or a spectral, that's why those are tradeable.
The idea of making them non-tradeable is so people actualy WORK for their stuff, this is like suggesting making charms tradeable, want summoning? work for your charms then. Also have you seen the rate you get tokens? 400k tokens for a shield, thats level 88 Dungeonnering, you honestly think someone will sell an item that took so long to get in first place? Wont happen.

Get Posting Wretch!
my self i found it pretty fun raiding dungeons but by the time i got to level 25 it got repetitive ( i can't spell >.>) it would be nice if rewards weren't 400k and if there were more dungeons instead of just daemonhiem or w.e
and i find 120 is insane anyway its still pretty fun and a free way to train rc and since its f2p new stuff for f2p.

From an F2P perspective this update is amazing, I stopped playing for a while out of boredom but this update rejuvenated my addiction, and the rewards are decent such as the coal holder. Great update imo!

New skill max is 120 wich is around 104m xp. I can't see me getting level 10 fast, so I hope this is some sort of joke. I understand we asked for a challenge, but we didn't meant something that would drain our lifes out in the process... Maybe I should just start to accept the fact that when it comes to suggestion, jagex will always find a way to mess it up.
I'm pretty sure you said something about silkroad and how you got xp faster if you trained properly than if you just grinded. Isn't that the same with this dungeoneering seeing as how some people are like lvl 74?

i really dont know why you're complaining, if it was tradeable you wouldnt be able to afford it anyways, the fact the amount of effort people need to put in to get one would mean nobody would sell it, it'd be pretty much unbuyable anyways

1. well eventually i might be able to afford it (just saying thats almost flame baiting)
2. you could proly make the 100m that it might cost in under the time it would take to make 400k tokens
3. if no one were to sell it then there would be another extremely expensive item on the market to help stimulate people to buy things
4. most skills other than con have a way of paying for themselves where this skill takes no money to train and gives no money in return
5. it's a minigame and around half of the minigames have tradeable items as rewards
6. everyone is entitled to their own opinion

Actually, is both. Xp in silkroad is fast if you keep your masteries at the same level of your character.
However, you need to "skill point farm" and for that you need to keep a cap between your char level and your mastery level (cap 9 is the most used) wich gives you almost no xp at all but a lot of skill points, so you want both, almost no xp to skill point farm, and full xp when you're done getting all your skill points, wich is hella fast.

Guess is kinda the same with dungeoneering, I made it to level 40 doing solos only and haven't tried duos for training yet, either way, I don't enjoy this skill much, I really need to take rests between levels because I honestly feel like I'm losing my mind.

Tbh, I'm dissapointed with this skill, seeing is just a mix of all the features from several rpgs, hell even the bosses are, but for the most part because they promised us something "different and never seen before in any mmo" and they claimed to have been working on this since 2003, is basically Stealing Creation -RPG features edition-... I don't even bother with jagex anymore, they think we only play runescape and don't know about other games or something. For what it seems, I will probably max all skills except dungeoneering, closest thing I'll be to my goal of being max total, I even had all my 99s planned and that included this new skill, but I never thought it would be 120... Maybe is time for me to move on while the game is still considered "good", who knows, only time will tell...

Nadrew, the beauty of this new skill is that you actually have to work hard to get the high level items, not just join a merchanting clan for a month. I don't get how you can't see that just buying whatever item you want isn't a good thing, and that the game needs to be challenging at some point or another, and this is a good example of something to make the RuneScape community actually have to work at instead of just a new item that you think "Meh, 100m for it right now, its kinda cool, I'll go buy it on w2." This is a great new skill once you actually take the time to look at it and try it out.

You should try it in a 5 man party doing a medium or large dungeon if you haven't already, it's a lot more fun and faster xp.

I find the solo runs boring as hell, but love it with a team. You don't have to do everything by yourself and can split up and clear the dungeon faster, help each other get equipment/supplies etc, makes it less tedious :P

Oh and anyone that is saving up for any items this is in the FAQ on rsof

"Why does it take so long to get tokens? I’ll never get enough for a cool reward!"

The number of tokens you receive is directly related to the amount of XP you receive. As your XP rates increase, so too will your token rates.

However, you may be please to know, we are currently reevaluating the token cost for each reward.

So don't spend em yet :o

Its impossible not to do something that another mmorpg hasn't.. Yeah its similar to other games but really how is lets say the mechanics of WoW any different then the mechanics of other popular games like diablo and silkroad, its just stupid.
I'm not trying to piss anyone off but seriously if you don't like the direction the game is going then its simple >>>>>> LOG OUT <<<<<<
Jagex has to keep up with the other mmorpg's or else its gonna lose alot of its customers over time. If this was my first day playing runescape I would say wow what a shitty game, i'd rather pay 30 bucks for a game that isn't just clicking, I don't know sometimes I wish there was a mute button for all the people who say "wow jagex sucks blah blah blah" but at the end of the day we are still paying for the game and logging on. ughh rant over and out

WELL SAID MILLZ!

I'm so fucking sick of hearing people bash on Jagex all the fucking time. IF IT WEREN'T FOR THEM YOU WOULD NOT BE PLAYING THIS GAME AT ALL!

And you were right about it being nearly impossible to do something that someone else hasn't. Of course it's going to be like other RGP's because guess what, RPG is in the fucking title of the website!! "Runescape The Massively Multiplayer Online ROLL PLAYING GAME"

Jagex does the same things that every other online game I know of does. The only difference is that they talk to their players and care about them and value their opinion to a point. No one blames Blizzard for taking ideas from other places. You know why? Because if you would send them a message saying what is wrong with the game or if you posted a thread on a forum saying to "fix your game it sucks we pay we say" they not only would ignore it but you would get flamed your ass off by the other players saying if you dont like it just leave. The maturity level of RS is SIGNIFICANTLY lower. You guys dont understand that JAGEX MAKES THIS GAME! You can't call them retarded because they are obviously not. That's like saying your parents never did anything good in their lives and they should have just killed themselves. THAT WOULD MAKE YOU NEVER EXIST!

Arg rant
