Mario Elie has been a useful part of a poor Spurs bench. He's getting good numbers and can play SF/SG. The two players The Spurs get here are worthless at best, have played no minutes (Which is fair since they both suck) and this trade only benefits Miami. The Spurs don't even get cap relief from this, it's literally adding two useless players for one of their best subs. Yeah, It's basically an inferior version of the player they are trading and useless player who even on potential won't be re-signed due to no bird years. Obviously just trying to give Miami a better bench. |
