Yes they have a shuttle to the MetroLink, however the shuttle quits running at mid-night so don't lose any glass slippers.

Could always steal a cab.

Never stole a cab.

Borrowed a cop car in Philly once.

It's still " borrow " if you don't bring it back, right ?

It's not like I left the city with it.

How hard could a cab be ?

Not your Dad's, though.

I promise, I will put no innocent party in harm's way.

Of course, who am I to judge who is innocent ?

I will be arriving at Lambert on Friday, April 13, at 2:30 p.m. I will be departing on Monday, April 16th, at 9:55 a.m.

Of course, these plans are subject to change.

Really looking forward to it, 'skrat.

If it's as good as the day and night I spend in the Emerald City once, I'm a happy guy.

Can't give you the exact date, but my cousin was marrying a guy she met in Juneau. I always wanted to spend some time in Seattle, so I flew in a full day in advance.

SeaTac is one of the most beautiful airports I have ever been in, and the Holiday Inn at the airport was awesome.

Anywho, hooked up with a valet ( it's always the valet ), scored some buddage, and hit the Boeing plant.

Took a cab into Seattle, hit the Space Needle ( didn't go up, hit the grunge bar across the street instead, Needle needed paint at the time ).

Got a lift to the market, refused to catch fish, walked the gorgeous streets, took in the view of the Pacific, and ended up at a Yuppie style bar ( do they call them Yuppie bars in Seattle ? ) that had about 40 beers on tap ( lined up behind the bar, really cool looking ).

While I was enjoying myself, one of the bartenders mentioned that she had tickets to the Mariners game that evening, and it happened to be the 1st interleague game weekend ever ( too lazy to look it up, it was the Kingdome, and they were playing Colorado ).

Had a blast, the game ended up a slugfest ( 13-12 ? ), and I ended up back in the Holiday Inn Jacuzzis ( plural ), which were in the lobby of the hotel ( as was the bar, at least as far as I can remember ) at about 3 a.m.

Somehow, I made my flight at about 7 or 8 the next morning, and proceeded to rip it up in Alaska for almost a week.

I love Seattle.

Your position as a hero of mine is getting more solidified by each next post. It is my burning desire to spend an extended time in Alaska. (with the sole purpose of shooting large animals in the neck and fishing!) If I could afford it, I owuld like to spend about 90 days (or 2 years) there!

I'm not a hunter myself, but if you're serious, I got family there.

You can shoot what you want, I'll burn some bud, chill out to the Dead, and watch the Northern Lights.

I'm serious.

Met some people that have pet wolfs. Pure wolfs.

Dead serious.

Alaska rocks. Hike on Mendenhall Glacier in shorts and a tank top, in 75 degrees, in June.

Admiral Island has more bears per square mile than anywhere on the planet ( okay, anywhere in North America ).

The Red Dog Saloon, in Juneau, has Wyatt Earp's pistol hanging on the wall, left when he checked it upon arriving in Juneau ( a true part of the movie Tombstone ). I will be wearing suspenders from said saloon during Legends Weekend.

Plus, you can play a round of golf beginning at 8:00 p.m.

And that's Juneau. In Anchorage, it's light out until after 10:00 p.m.

Oh, and a billion bald eagles.

I love Seattle.
The first bar sounds like Tex's Tavern(beer/wine) I loved that place,BBall court outside w/beer garden.
The yuppie bar coulda been one of many, unfortunately downtown/Belltown is now yuppie hell.
My jobsite is right next to the space needle!!
ps--thats Puget Sound the Pacific is a few hundred miles west B)
