I miss Sneaker's wonderful gourmet meals visually presented. Since I can't eat much of anything anymore I can at least look. Kind of like women, wife says look if you dare, but don't touch!

Long time, great site.

I've been back in the restaurant biz for 16 months now, and am now the head prep cook for the iconic eatery in State College.

I make a mean crab bisque, and my vegetable chili is a rib sticker. My crab cakes rock. If I didn't walk 3 miles a day (to and from work), I'd be pretty hefty by now. ;)

For anyone interested, you can find the Allen Street Grill on the intraweb (State College, Pa.)

I'm glad you are working and walking. I should do more of that. I've stuck about the same weight, need to drop a few, like 70 pounds. Now using the needle for diabetes, keeping daily log of blood status, getting it under control. Getting the old prostate removed next Wednesday, looking forward to the results of that. No Big C involved fortunately, just an uncontrollable fatty.

Bought an air fryer to try and cut some calories on grease and fat. Thing seems to work really well. Baked a chicken and it was really good. Going to try fried chicken soon, air fried. Supposed to be 70% less calories and fat is less. I'm digging it.

We got one for the wife at Christmas. It is not completely oil less but it sure does make for good fried food without the grease. Enjoy!
