The attendees to Nowhere...I make a potato salad using cilantro as the main flavor. You love it or hate it Anyone hate that that's coming down? Also andouille brats grilled, grilled spare ribs, baked and smoked beans. Some queso blanco cheese dip (it'll be kind of hot). A small grilled pork loin for sandwiches prior to supper and figured we could eat on leftovers for later in the evening.

Anyone hate multigrain bread?

Any suggestions? Inquiring minds want to know.

Originally wasn't going to do ribs, but the big green egg makes them a lot less labor intensive (get temp correct and baste occasionally).

All sounds good to me as well, I'm not a potato salad fan but that's just me. Like my wife has learned many, many times - cook what you want for a crowd and if they know the menu & still go hungry it's not your fault.

P.S. Don't worry about feeding the parrot, that's why my son will be there. We will just tell him that the bird likes to be petted

Well, after the bleeding stops, we can all give him a slap on the back, congratulate him for taking one for the team, and a job well done. B)

Is the get together within 30 mins. of the St. Louis area? Haven't been around much because work has been dragging my rear-end. Can't make the game but might be fun to meet some of y'all for a beer or 6.

I intended to bathe you in glorious ribs, wonderful chicken thighs, and andouille sausages to die for. There will be pix of the festivities and the grub for you to enjoy from afar.

Shiner has been kind enough to volunteer his only son to (unknowingly) offer up the sacrificial finger to Bingo in under the guise of "hey, the bird wants you to pet him". So fear not my Philly friend. The tradition shall be carried on. B)

I wear my " Bingo nip " as a badge of honor. Might even have a scar, but with my hands, it's hard to tell.

I had it all planned out, I was gonna bring top of the line Parrot food and ply him with that. If that didn't work, I was gonna get him drunk. I even entertained the idea of putting a cat turd in the bottom of his cage, just to see how you and the missus would react, but walking into a pet store to ask for it might have been awkward.

Glad to hear that someone has the niblets to keep up the tradition.

At least the dogs loved me. :(

Actually you could have gotten a cat biscuit here. We also have Franky Blue hanging out now. He is the resident rodent bouncer. He also polices the bird gene pool by eliminating the slow and/or dumb ones. :ph43r:

I think the wife is going to let me off the chain to join the crew at Friday Follies.

I have been instructed to bring a dozen deviled eggs. I won't make 'em but my wife will, she does a nice job with them. I have learned to rather enjoy potato salad when it is properly made. It can have a lot of different ingredients. You just have to have the proper ratio of ingredients to make it right. That German Potato Salad at Chicken Annies down near Pittsburg, Kansas was some of the best I have ever eaten. I know there was some vinegar involved in that stuff, it was delicious and savory. You just don't ask the ingredients. I thought it improper to try to get a job working in a family style chicken house just to figure out their postato salad. They also had some of the best slaw in the world. Another food I have learned to eat in moderation.

Back when I was a boozer I used to drink the juice from the Jalapeno jar in the restaurant after all the Pinos were eaten. Kind of stupid, but I did some stupid stuff when I drank. Even tried to pick up the waitresses at times. Also tried to dive into the pool on New Years Eve even though it had 10 inches of ice at the time. May have led to my history of bad knees! Ah, the good old days before my wife settled me down.

I wasn't going to say anything, but since you went there first. I do not like German potatoe salad either. I do however, lover German Fried Taters. Diced and cooked with onions!! Sometimes their greasy, but they are tasty.
