So we all mostly are pissed about the devastator and it's non transforming component vehicles...and after watching the flick a few times...well i have to wonder.... Revelation or Result of Poor, Flawed Editing? Devastator is formed by what would appear to be contructicons, who never transform into robot modes until they unite into devastator himself, to all of whom we've already been introduced, but based on the movie, are actually those characters, but only share alt modes (presumably) After Devastator was formed and working his way up the pyramid, there are at least 2+ cuts to scenes with longhaul, rampage (before being scrapped by bumblebee (i think it was him, i forget))...and OH!....demolisher was killed in the first several minutes of the flick by prime... Yet each of those characters' alt modes plus a 7th (the red flat bed, i forget his name) clearly congregated at MEgatron's command to form Devastator, who went about his business to get to the device per megs...then after the guys mentioned abovej (minus the dead demolisher) are all seen in their own fight scenes....yup....i'm kinda stuck.... I mean...if editing error...i mean....DAMN....that's a pretty big f/u!!!!, not once, but twice at least..and not super fast cut scenes that are easily missed... And if planned, then I would have to say the result is confusion...there has been so much set up about those certain constructicon characters that to throw the look a like vehicle modes in and be the actual components of devastator...i dunno...i just don't like it....but then i think again....HOW COULD THEY HAVE MISSED THAT ??? So I dunno... please tell me someone else has noticed this....and i'm curious what the rest of you think...

I can haz Tranzformerz? Posts: 218 Group: Members Member #216 Joined: June 17, 2007	Not just Longhaul, but Mixmaster too! Remember him turnining into his cannon mode? Not to mention the excavator that Demolisher used at the beginning of the movie. Yeah, now that I think about it, Bay was thinking Devestator first, plot later. O.o Seriously, WTF!? That's 4 Decepticons that are supposed to be part of him, but they're staying there! Hell, one of them is already dead after the first 10 minutes of the movie! This does at least explain why the figure doesn't have individual robot forms, but this only leads to confusion of does Devestator in this movie actually act like Magmatron and the Duocons from G1? Yeah, but this is Micheal Bay in full control of the movie here. Oddly enough, I think the movie did its job in promoting a toyline that hasn't seen this much rise in popularity since Beast Wars. Plus, I don't think Micheal Bay wanted to be a director for the emotional drama or build up of this movie, he just wants to be in control of what people do and what things need blowing up.
