Actually your email address changes more often Arvens. Niger did not change it's name ever since it became independent in 1960.
Angola's capital is actually named Luanda.
Anyway, I'm stuck with my "favorite" letter again <_<

Amur - River in eastern Russia

(and I'm gonna give the next one who gives me an A some place that ends with an A as well! ;) )

^ Dunkirk (I'm afraid we had it in the old Gang of Five already) is a harbor in northern France, close to the Belgian border. In 1940 more than 330000 British and Frensh soldiers who had been encircled there were evacuated to England whereby almost every ship (from tiny private boats to huge military ships) were used. It became known as the wonder of Dunkirk and probably saved Europe from falling to the nazis.

Kashmir - region disputed by the nuclear powers India and Pakistan.
