I have to admit that all I know is the name "Dragonball" while I know nothing about the movie. But I'm sure other people around here could tell you more about it. It sort of passed by me, so I can't say wether I'd like it or not. |

Dragonball Z? Isn't that a Jap anime show? I never was a fan of Jap anime or the whole Pokemon craze. |

Lol... I like anime, there were actually 3 Dragon Ball series, Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT the last one was the shortest one.. it only had 64 episodes, but it's my favourite it has more of the spirit of the first dragon ball and not the must kill, sope longing boringness of dragon ball Z =P |

Lol you think that's a lot? Dragon Ball Z has 291 episodes plus 14 short movies and one theatre release, I've pratically all of them.. but I only saw about 30 of the GT series.. cause they stopped showing it on TV don't know why but they just did... anyway I bought the ending on VHS and sometimes I watch it.. it's very emotive and amusing.. since they're always making jokes even though half the time they're fighting for their lives... |

I love the Dragon Ball Trilogy series! Still, in the original series, I really wish that Goku/Kakarot had beaten Master Roshi in that World Tournament. He was so much more powerful but his master beats him with a cheap shot like that? He decides to finish everything in one final attack between them, and Goku/Kakarot agrees. They both jump into the air with a mighty kick, but in the end Roshi is the winner because he knew his kick would do more damage since his legs were so much longer than his student's. An example of brain over brawn I guess, but isn't that what the hero is supposed to do? In Dragon Ball Z, I loved the dozens of creative powers. Guldo's were my favorite. I love psionic abilities. One was freezing time itself for as long as he could hold his breath. That was awsome and original. Plus, Goku/Kakarot had so many powers: K.O. Ken- K.O. Ken times ten, four super saiyan forms, 1, 2, 3, and ascended, kamehamahe, energy blast (Tree of Might), Spirit Bomb, super kamehameha, instant transmission (teleportation), and flight. That's all I remember him having in DBZ anyway. I also remember he learns super saiyan 4 and dragon fist in DBGT. The story really kept you wondering because this isn't a typical show where the hero always wins. Goku/Kakarot has died multiple times from battles in this series. And it was great how he befriended Vegeta, because now he has an extremely powerful ally and good friend. Plus, if not for that alliance, DBGT would not have ended so well. As far as DBGT, that one was my favorite. Goku/Kakarot being wished to be a child again was pretty clever. Now a lot of his foes underestimate him. I remember one foe saying, "How can such a small body harness such enormous power?" It was great to learn the most powerful entity in the universe: a super saiyan 4 fusion. Too bad it doesn't last long though. Besdies him in this series, I really like Pan, his granddaughter. She was nice but had attitude, and although she doesn't learn to transform into super saiyan, she fights very well. Most people think she can't transform because she is only one fourth saiyan. Well, that is a false assumption because Goku/Kakarot and Vegeta's great great grandchildren who have very little saiyan blood in them at all showed that they can transform just fine in the very last episode. It's too bad Goku/Kakarot and Vegeta had to do most of the difficult fighting in this series since they were far more powerful than their kids in this season. That is odd because Gohan, Goku/Kakarot's first son, showed that was more powerful than his father in the fight against Cell in DBZ. I know Gohan slacked off in his training afterwards, but if you think about it, Gohan had not even one tenth of the training his father had when they fought Cell. Still Gohan beat him when his father had too much trouble. So even with taking things easy, Gohan should have stayed pretty close to his father power-wise. Ah well. I loved all three series and the three movies that I saw, Tree of Might, Dead Zone, and Fusion Reborn. It's a shame that it ended but that has to happen with all good shows, I guess. At least they still make video games for this which I continue to enjoy. The newest one, Dragon Ball Origns for the DS, is pretty awsome. Thanks for this topic. I'll talk about Dragon Ball/Z/GT any day. Later! |

OT: You must've worked long and hard to dig up something that's been buried practically since this board was created. Need a drink after all that?(You could've started a new topic if you wanted to. You didn't need to do a ton of searching to see if we already had one.) |

I'm sorry about this. I would just feel bad if someone came up with something first and then I made the same topic which drew away attention from the original one. I just like the credit to go to the creator, not the copier. On some double topics that I have found here, I've tried responding some way to each of them so they can get equal attention. Generic pills can sell more than the real thing, and I don't want someone else's spotlight that he or she earned by making a replica of their work. Besides, I never start threads in forums. Thread starters are the ones mainly responsible to report abuse in them to administrators, because it is their topic after all. I hate complaining about other people, so I'm not cut out to run a topic. I don't usually have the nerve to "tell" on people, especially since if I was was the thread starter, the person with the problem would likely suspect I reported him or her, then up comes negative feelings. Honestly, nobody is "happy" when someone complains about them. I'm sure topic starting would be a very fun thing to do; I often imagine great things to bring up. I just don't want to deal with the worrying that comes with it. And I'll take you up on your offer. I'd like a glass with 2/3 coke and 1/3 blueberry pomagranate juice. I don't get that kind of juice very often since it's so expensive. Two servings of that juice in a small bottle costs more than a gallon of milk where I get it. But when I do- ah. I read in a cookbook that any fruit based drink compliments the flavor of coke and pepsi. I've already tried mixing them with orange juice, grape juice, apple juice, and several flavors of lemonade- all very delicious. But make sure you use more soda than juice, or it will end up tasting flat. The carbonation is one thing that makes it taste so good. It's heaven in a glass, if you ask me. Later! |

Anything over a year old you probably can just start a new topic without a problem. Most have forgotten by then there was ever an old one. This particular one was four years old....definitely could have made a new one without rebuttal. |
