I cannot give a particular order nor can I exclude that other movies that there are other movies that don't come to my mind right now which I'd like even better than some of those which I name here: 1. The Lord of the Rings Triology (I watched ROTK just yesterday) 2. Star Wars (I think I like the first three Star Wars movies better than the newer ones, while I don't say that the new ones are bad) 3. Braveheart (as with most Mel Gibson movies this one doesn't stick close to the historical fact, but it can make people interested enough to inform themselves, which is a great thing for a movie) 4. The Patriot (dito) 5. Gettysburg (unfortunately I've only the German version of the movie, but if you give me three connected words from it, I can continue by heart) 6. Dragonheart 7. Dinosaur (not bad, but it could have been better) 8. Lion King 9. Jeanne d'Arc (I'm not talking of a cinema movie here, but of a direct to TV movie which by far outmatched any cinema movie I've seen about her so far) 10. Shrek 11. Pirates of the Carribean 12. Forrest Gump 13. Shindler's list 14. Life of Brian 15. Das Boot |

I was really disappointed that James Gurney who created the awesome books "A land appart from time" and "The world beneath" approved THAT movie! However I wasn't very fond of his third bood "first flight" either. |

Yeah, I've read the book, too, Malte. I was amazed to discover that the film only has abot 1/3 of the book's material in it. |

There are soooo many flicks out there that I love. I can't possibly put them in any order so I'll just give ya a run down: 1. Anything made by Pixar! Love their films! I know the entire script to Finding Nemo (sad to admit) 2. Shrek 1 and 2 3. Resident Evil: Apocalypse - First one was poo but loved this one coz it was modelled much closer to the game. It also had Jill Valentine in it and she's my fav Resi character! 4. The majority of Jim Carrey films. All his funnies namely Bruce Almighty, Liar Liar, Ace Ventura, The Grinch etc. 5. Action films like Face/Off, Blade, Matrix, Snatch, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. 6. Kill Bill I also loved! Some real foot-to-butt hardcore action there! 7. Pirates of the Carribbean is another! Man! I cant name them all! That's just a short list. You're probably be wondering "why isn't Star Wars or LOTR up there?" Erm...please refer to the topic "My Worst Movies" for those... *braces for intense amount of screaming*

I love Jim Carrey too. He has a new film coming out, called " A Series of Unfortunate Events" It looks bizarre and he looks zany. I think I'm going to love this film. It looks almost Roald Dahlish in the trailers. But that's just me. Nick |
