lol that was a good one. Nice spike centered episode. Trying to remember what the little dino was they showed. Kind of cool that they made mention of the tinysaurouses. Shows that the chars have not just suddenly broke off contact with friends from previous adentures. |

Nice to see some tiny mammals... I don't know what kind they are, but they look like they were supposed to be based on something that was real. |

Okay, this message could take a while, so get comfortable. ![]() First off, I fully understand that there was one main genre behind this episode. Simply, humor. Which isn't really such a bad thing when done right. ![]() First, they bring a nice smile to my face with Spike wondering into a burrow and getting his head stuck. Then I snicker when the vine apparently fails by untying itself. I guess they don't know how to tie knots very well. Then the hole gets bigger and Spike falls in, giving me a stiffled laugh. Then we have Ruby with her own unique way of talking, which can always bring a laugh in the right situation. For me, it earned a nice chuckle. Then we have an extended argument between Mr. Thicknose and Topsy, which is what triggered the full blown pure laugh. I also had to laugh a little when the little dino got its butt whooped by Spike, who wasn't even trying. ![]() In the end, this was a nice episode that brought me quite some laughs to keep it interesting. Don't know if I'll ever watch it after I'm done with the songs and all. I'm glad they made a reference to the Tinysauruses. I was seriously wondering what became of them. Seeing as how they have their own private place in the valley, I guess that explains why we don't see them much. They really should do an episode with those guys. After all, since LBT 11, I've been thinking that something's going on between two certain Tinysauruses. I would like to know if my suspicions are correct. ![]() I wonder what those prehistoric rats are called. We'd better think about looking that up. Well, looks like I'll be busy tomorrow with my giving the lyrics to Action9000 and all. ![]() Expect them tomorrow. ![]() See ya gusy later. B) |

For a minute there I thought we'd see a glimpse of Tickles. All hail the all mighty Spike Pretty funny episode, humor is a part of LBT that should be explored more often. |

I don't know why but this episode really bothered me. I didn't see a real point to it. I found it to be the worst animation I have ever seen. I hated the mammals in it. They had too much depth. They seemed to be almost human-like. It was creepy. Also, there is usually a mildly suspensful event before the break when they play that same intro video but they showed us exactly what happened before the intro came on. I really like to wonder what happened when the intro is on but Whern I already knew, the intro was just plain annoying. I also found the song between Mr. threehorn and Mr. thicknose extremely distasteful. This episode was just thrown in because they needed a filler for a week in my opinion. Sorry but I couldn't find even one thing to like in ths episode. The others were all great though! |

i love how spike is idolized as some sort of prophet. reminds me of in the 13th movie, that one yellow belly didn't ever speak and he ended up being the wise one.

I wonder if working on one of those gave them the idea for the other. Depending if they did the script for the movie or the episode first. |

well this episode aired in uk long before the 13th movie, so i guess that's what inspired it. |

It could have. One of the script writers could have said something like, "hey, why don't we have some creatures who live underground think Spike is very wise like the yellowbellies think ?? is, he doesn't talk either." |

True, but that is nothing new, it seems practically anytime anything needs to get done the adults all argue instead of doing anything, except with a very few exceptions. It's a side effect of having kids as the main character in the way most writers write. Hense, though I"m sure it pisses off many, my characters in some rp threads commenting on that fact that only the kids seem to get anything done. |

Alright, my thoughts of this one... The first scene has some really funny things in it. Littlefoot accidently falling into the water, Ducky+Petrie doing the same on purpose(actually only Ducky) and Petrie's line after that It was kinda cute how Ducky said that they'd complement each other..Oh, and Spike gets stuck next scene: The next funny thing is that LF, Ducky and Petrie try to get Spike unstuck ![]() Oh common! Spike's burping how ridiculous... but funny another time Spike gets himself into danger He falls into a cave under the earth. And it's not the Tinysaurusses' cave Of course Spike has to eat something there and of course Ducky has to stay there...next scene: Spike eats but then whispering appeared from everywhere, oh no... and then three big shadows appears... and then... RATS?!?!? O_O next scene: Oh, Cera, Chomper and Ruby are playing tag I guess. Chomper chomps into some grass, hehe. Then Littlefoot appears, he and Petrie tell them the story... Cera's sarcasm Oh, and Ruby quotes, I like them.So Mr. Thicknose show up out of nowhere. Some discussion about the different kinds I see. Well, he helps them, great! Cera: "I believe it when I see it" Chomper: "Speaking of it... you're it!" ![]() Had to smile for at least one minute ![]() next scene: those little... rats are talking... oh my... So Spike's the Big Wise eh? Beyond the Mysterious Beyond eh Above: no comment ... And Spike eats as if nothing happens next scene: nice little Mr. Threehorn moment ![]() next scene: Spike's burping again and those little rats still believe he's the Wise One at least this little trick of Spike is kinda funny... and they bring him shiny stones... !next scene: Mr. Thicknose vs. Mr. Threehorn yay!!! next scene: hehe they tickle Spike to wake him up good advice for Ducky in case Spike rolls on her at night. What's the Great Hideous Beast?!? Ohh, THAT LITTLE CUTE THING????? Ridiculous! Well, at least Spike safed those rats from it in a funny way... next scene: another arguement I see... Petrie already falls from the tree guys! My Way: Ehh... forget what I just said... better argue than sing! So another time the kids have to find solutions as Kor stated. Ducky brings the idea up and Ruby worked it out. next scene: It seems as if Spike becomes homesick... Yes, pull gang, pull! Spike says Goodbye to those rats... eh no comment, where the hell's the GHB??!?!?? Oh, the Gang pulls her up... Ducky talks to her..cuuuuuuuuuute! BUUUUURRRP!!! Spike appears behind them ![]() Another epic Ruby line. And of course Thicknose and Topsy are still arguing. When they find out Spike has already been safed Topsy's like and Thicknose like "You're the one who started arguing!" Awesome Mister Thicknose and even after that they can't stop All in all the episode was okay. There are some aspects I really like( the first scene in general, Thicknose and Topsy arguing and the GHB as well as the general funnyness and a whole bunch of Ruby lines, besides the fact that the kids do something while the grown-ups are arguing) while I strongly dislike others(mainly the fact they used those little annoying rats )The whole plot that happens under the earth in that little cave( except the scenes with the GHB) are very weak imo... I just don't like them as well as the fact they haven't used dinosaurs but annoying little mammals:x About the thing that the grown-ups always argue and so on... : I like it under the circumstances of tLBT though it actually is the wrong message what Kor stated above. |
