I finally got a hold of a really great editing program called Sony Vegas and after a two month Hiatus I can start making movies with my friends again! Right now I the only videos I'm working on are experimental ones, just so I can get used to the software tools a bit. Here's one vid I made with the layering tools using some gif animations I got off the internet: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4373126091770355303

Vegas? I tried using that once. It's just too hard.

Here's another vid I just made using the same technique as the pokeball clip. But made for adding a muzzle flash to a gun. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8882079579071651330

Laser one wasn't too bad...it didn't appear it was coming from the gun, but rather under it. I'm sure it takes practice with this stuff.

I'm a historian. I MUST be like that!

Sometimes I really regret we don't live closer to each other. I have often been looking for people not too shy to dress up and act for a little movie. A friend of mine shot a long parody of the lord of the rings, but I just wouldn't find enough people to participate in such a project. Very recently I managed to have two cousins of mine participate in shooting a little scene from "The Hobbit" (I make a nasty Gollum :lol).
