I watched it last night. Like they say on that show: If it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing. And that pen bomb was an excellent example of that. (the last pen they used was ridiculously huge :lol )

The new episode that was on last night was the second viewers special. The myths they tested sure were crazy. :lol Also, Buster has been retired and a new Buster has been introduced (his first fall was quite a painful one :lol ).

I think there will be a new episode next Wednesday, as part of discovery channel's Alaska Week. The only preview I saw was they blow up a vehicle in a snowy area.

I watched the new episode last night. I won't spoil it for anyone, but i will say what myths they tested:

- Some guys decide to go duck hunting at a frozen lake, but the lake is frozen so, in order to get the ducks to come, they try to remove some of the ice by throwing a stick of dynamite onto the lake. The dog, thinking it's a stick to fetch, retrieves the dynamite and brings it back. By the time the dog gets under the SUV the guys had, the dynamite explodes, killing the dog and causing the SUV to sink into the lake.
- If you're going to hit a moose with your car, your car will receive less damage if you speed up instead of slowing down.
- It is possible to get cabin fever if you are alone in a cabin for many days.

Again, I won't tell you the results, but I can say that those results are worth watching.

My favorite was the Pirate Eye Patch myth. It's just such an awesome concept. And the fact that it was plausible is even cooler.

I just remembered that there was a new episode on Sunday as a part of shark week. If anyone missed it, like I did, it'll be on again tomorrow at 9:00 p.m. EST. I checked the schedule and seems to be a two hour episode.

Just to let you all know, there will be a new episode every week at the usual time, starting next Wednesday. Based on the TV ad I've seen, the new myths they'll test include: exploding steak, more ninja myths, and the rumors of the moon landing being faked.

A new episode was on last night. One of the myths they tested was could you tenderize a low-grade steak with explosives. They also tried other methods like an air cannon and a drier with ball-bearings in it. The other myth they tested was is driving under stress less fuel-efficient than driving while calm.

Another new episode was on last night. This time, they tested claims of the moon landing being faked. Among the claims they tested were if some of the pictures taken on the moon were taken in a studio, if some things like a boot print and a flag waving couldn't be done in a vacuum, and if the lunar gravity was simulated by slowing down the video. In my opinion, this episode was definitely worth watching. :yes

Another new episode last night. They tested if some viral videos (very popular internet videos) could actually be done. There was a small car that could fly by attaching a few fire hoses to it and aiming them straight down, there was a sawdust cannon that could create a huge fireball, and there was 'invisible water' which was a heavier-than-air gas put into an empty fish tank on which a small foil boat could float. There were so many funny scenes in that episode that I'm going to watch it when it comes on again, Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST.
