A New Digital Camera; Which Brand Is Best?

I seriously need a new digital camera. My existing one is a sony 20megapixil. It's great and everything, and it was REALLY expensive, but it takes like 60mb-250mb images. I have to spend 5 minutes shrinking the size of every image in paint to post it, otherwise it takes an hour to upload to photobucket. I'm looking at a 5mp tops. Which brand is best? Price is not an issue for me. I just don't wanna have to spend so much time with each image just to be able to use it. I don't know why I even got the 20mp in the first place. Probably my mom's idea. :lol

My parents have this. They love it. I've tried it and save for really dark settings, it works really great and you don't need to touchup photos all that often. :) Its also three years old so maybe there's something newer, but that's my recommendation.

10X optical zoom. Cool! I'm gonna get one off ebay. It's huge though...

Well yeah unless you want one of those flimsy thin things. :P: I'd rather something that feels like its going to last.
