Does anyone find it ironic that chomper is taking part in "egg theft" when his egg itself was moved before he hatched? |

Maybe he secretly hopes that will make these sharpteeth friendly instead of mean. Maybe also if the eggs hatch they'll have sharpteeth in the valley, more then just one, if that is the plot of moving the eggs out. |

Chomper

I think the eggs probably just looked different because they were moved from a cave out into daylight. The bullies looking different is probably just because the animation style has changed quite a lot since LBT 3 was made. |

I would guess not since no one mentioned doing so so far. There is always the dvd, whenever that comes out. |

Well we all know by now that LBTlover has it on his website, and I gotta say I enjoyed seeing Hyp and his friends again..and to see them working together with Littlefoot, Chomper, Ducky and Petrie was kinda nostalgic to me. I enjoyed this episode a lot. |

Hyp did look quite a bit different (and he was a lot smaller) from his self in the 3rd movie, but his attitude was still the same, which I appreciated. Hyp, Mut and Nod are among my favorite sequel characters, and the episode itself was very good. I think the eggs were blue in the beginning because they were in the darkness. |

Littlefoot

I liked this episode a lot as well. Though, I thought that the bullies would be nicer. At the end of LBT 3, it seemed that they weren't really bullies anymore and for 9 more sequels they didn't cause any trouble. If they're really "the greatest trouble-makers in the great valley" as Littlefoot says, I think we would have seen them or at least seen the result of their mischief in later sequels. |

I think Littlefoot was reffering to what took place in LBT 3. |

They did seem a bit nicer then their first appearance. And as to why they were not around, I guess it's like with the other characters who live in the valley but are not seen. They usually don't show a character unless they have something to do with the plot of the movie or episode in some way. It may make less sense, but it likely makes the movie and episode easier to write and animate that way. Much the same as there are no other kids really except for mainly the gang and a few others, Guido who is seldom seen and some of the gang's siblings, and such. |

Perhaps the animators didn't feel the need to be bothered to go back and watch the earlier movie. |

Does anyone else think that the mother raptor falling asleep at the end was too much of a save? Yes, I'm sure that she was tired after chasing the main characters and that seeing her newborn hatchlings safe would have relaxed her, but it is odd that she would simply forget about those who had stolen her eggs to begin with... |

It likely was a thing they used to end the episode since they had little time left. It's been done in fiction often before unfortunately, even LBT has used it before. |

Or perhaps she never intended to kill the main characters in the first place and only ever intended to retrieve her eggs? Perhaps maternal instincts took over and she simply forgot about them... |

One of the better eps ![]() They thought of a good plot and managed to make it enjoyable and exciting. I was quite surprised when Littlefoot used his tummy as a kind of trampoline (almost yellowbelly-like) to save the egg. |

It was nice to see the 3 bullies, who had not been seen since the 3rd movie, and they had an explanation why some of the main characters were not around, as I recall. I'd say it was one of the better tv series episodes. |

Beware of Silver Claw!

I think Mama Fast Biter had the same motives as Chomper's parents: Get the eggs back, harm anyone that is taking them, and maybe go for food around there, but mainly, if you get your kids back, just go and take care of the kids instead and leave the Leaf Eaters alone. (Who knows, maybe Chomper told her at some point what they were really up to and she decided "Oh well, makes sense. Just don't try anything funny ever again or else ")It's also possible that, er, the mother already was getting food and hence wasn't hungry. She may have just wanted to whack them for egg taking but realized that seeing to her hatched children was more important and so let the kids be. |
