OUt of curiousity, since there seems to be a lot of fellow gamers on here, what was your very first game, or at least the first game you remember that left enough impression on you to get you into games. Mine was the original "Super Mario Bros." for the old Nintendo console, along with "Duck Hunt" and some track running game where you ran in place on a mat to make your characte run. It was a three-in-one deal. |

Similar to yours, WR; Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt for the NES. It was a 2-in-1 game. |

The battery on my copy of Super Mario World is no good. It can't keep a save for it's life! So, I tend to not play it. |

well, the battery is non-replacable so you have to take it out. then you just take 2 paper clips and a AA battery and use them to charge the mini battery. It only takes about 5 minutes. The battery is not replaceable so you have to charge it. I do this to all my games once every 4 years. |

Hmm... a detailed step-by-step guide either posted here or PMed to me (to keep this on-topic) would be nice. |

I believe the first game I ever played if I can remember very far back was Super Mario World. If not that then it would be Sonic the Hedgehog. |

Mine would also have to be Super Mario World. I loved that game so much.

This will severely age me, but my first was playing pong a few times at a cousin's house. Years later I played some other, more fun, games at a cousin in laws house. I forget all the titles, I think they were, ms pacman, pacman, the first game with mario and donkey kong, whatever name that was. Maybe the first mario brothers. Think it was on the atari something system. I remember finding ms pacman easier. And for some reason, did slightly better playing luigi in the original mario brothers. Thought I'm terrible at video games, I guess due to lack of practice, I still like them. |

The first game with Mario (Jumpman) and Donkey Kong -- was Donkey Kong. That set the pace for Nintendo games for years to come. Before then, didn't Nintendo actually make playing cards?
