Today, Jana wanted to e-mail someone, so she thought it would be a good idea to make an e-mail account on Opera. But afterwards, periodically (maybe once every 5 or so minutes) Opera would freeze up for an amount of time, and then come up with an Error Console. I don't know how to stop this from happening. Does anyone here know how I can get rid of the e-mail account? Or at least how to stop the Error Console? |

Are you trying to run email through Opera to avoid using something like Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird? I've only tried it once, and I couldn't get it to work, so I just went into preferences and removed it. You can try that. If that doesn't work, you can always try http://www.opera.com/support/ |

It wasn't me who set up the e-mail account. It was Jana. I was able to fix the problem by removing the E-Mail folder from the Application Data of Opera. |

Tell her its best to use a program designed specifically for email, not a one-in-all solution. |

I just don't understand why people don't just set up a gmail account. The service is free , you get tons of space, and it doesn't use hardly any resources. |

Preference. Not everyone wants a Gmail account. Others just prefer using another e-mail address. I've had to delete the folder again. I'm guessing Jana must've gotten the account back. I'll ask her about it. |
