It's ok. I know they have a huge audience of fans. Not everyone can like all the same things. |

I love slasher movies. I don't know why, I just enjoy the suspense and horror the genre brings. These are my top 5 favorite slasher movies 1. Saw (I love the whole franchise, but that was probably easy to figure) 2. Nightmare on Elm Street (The first movie is so classic, and the deaths got creepier every time) 3. Halloween (The first movie is an absolute MASTERPIECE! Rob Zombie remake is really good too. Whole franchise, minus the third movie, is terrific.) 4. Friday the 13th (Jason is the most badass killer of all time, hands down) 5. Texas Chainsaw Massacre - Remake (I liked the original, but I LOVED the remake) |

Another lesser-known one I like a lot: Happy Birthday to Me-Surprisingly long for an 80's slasher (About 110 minutes, with credits), it offers a nice whodunnit for the first half-until the killer is (Supposedly) revealed midway through the movie. It does have a neat twist at the end, however even the writers admitted the reveal of who the killer REALLY is was added on at the last minute, as the original script had no twist at the end. Watching the movie, I'll admit it does feel a tad tacked on. The motorcycle, weight lifting, and kabob kills were creative, though IMO the film's poster's promise (Six of the most bizarre murders you'll ever see) is not true, as though 3 are the only unique ones. Hilariously, the body count in the movie is 8 (Including the killer's death), so it's like they admitted "Hey, 2 of the kills aren't clever, but 6 of them are!" Overall, I'd recommend it if you are a slasher movie fan. |

Ducky

I've never seen any, and if they are only movies like Saw or Halloween (no offense Brek), I don't watch. I hate gory scenes where people cut people to pieces, and stuff like. I watch stuff like the anaconda, python or the descent movies. |

One of my personal favorites. There was another movie I liked that was about a truck driver hunting a dude and some chick. Don't remember the name. |
