I need help from the collecters of LBT screenshots For the Member of 2008 award which is to be issued in the not too distant future I'm looking for Chomper screenshots from LBT 5. Unfortunately I have but only a few shots from LBT 5 and none of them seems suitable for the award. To be used for the award the character should be clearly displayed (clearly enough to be still visible even if the image is shrunk a lot) and preferably he ought not to be cut of on one side. An image which I remember that might be suitable for this award (or for another one come to that) would be Chomper with the leaf on which he had piled all the green stuff he had gathered for the others, but I'm sure there are many suitable images of him in LBT 5. If any of you have LBT 5 screenshots of Chomper which you would share for the purpose of award making this would be much appreciated

Yes, that's a new Pokemon!

Despite the fact that I do have LBT 5 on my computer, it's not in good quality. (In fact, it's in bad quality VHS.) At least this will give me an excuse to pull out my LBT 5 Laserdisc and give it a watch. Give me until tomorrow. I'll have something by then. |

I can go through lbt 5 later and do some screenshots. I'd need to hopen another account or have somewhere to open them up since my photobucket and webshots accounts are close to being full. |

^ Speaking of which, I had your photobucket account as a favorite on the browser of my previous computer. With that one gone, could you send me the url of your photobucket account again since it holds so many images which may come in handy for awards

Well, I sadly found my laserdisc to not be in the best of condition. (In fact, it's not quite as good as shown on the eBay listing I got it from.) It sadly has fingerprints and scratch marks all over it. (You need to shine the light at a certain angle to see the scratches, but they're there. ) The fingerprints can be cleaned off easily, but those scratches mean this laserdisc may not last much longer.Despite this knowledge I played and recorded it onto my computer. It still turned out really good, but I really don't know how much longer it'll last. It at least kept the scenes with Chomper in full quality. So yeah, expect some pictures for you at least by later today, Malte. See ya later! |

My photobucket acount [lbt folder since I doubt the dinosaucer folder would interest you any}: http://s696.photobucket.com/albums/vv325/Kulstor/LBT/ looks like the subalbums are in a sidebar. http://s696.photobucket.com/home/Kulstor My Webshots: http://community.webshots.com/user/Kulstor I'll take some screenshots later. I should look through my accounts to find some pictures from the 5th movie. I know one of those has some Chomper pictures. |

Okay, I watched movie five and took screenshots of all the scenes I could find where Chomper was being helpful, was the only one in the scene (a tail does not count, heh), was at least mostly visible, and didn’t have a goofy expression. Here they are:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
I am curious though, why are you changing the member award picture of three years ago? Was the winner of 2008 dissatisfied? I must admit that I find it amusing that you’re altering the picture of three years ago instead of asking for a picture for this year. Ah well. The will of an administrator is not to be challenged; I was just curious. I hope at least one of those photos suits you. |

I took a few screenshots of Chomper in the 5th movie. I hope I took enough for you to go through. http://s696.photobucket.com/albums/vv325/K...omper%20in%205/ |

Excellent! There are several which are quite suitable for this as well as some other awards. Thank you guys a lot No, nothing wrong with any existing awards. Thing is that every year we issue the Member of ... award which is to be issued to all members who: 1. Joined three years ago (That's why in 2011 the award for 2008 will be issued). 2. Posted more than a hundred times. 3. Have still been active since the beginning of the current year. The award is meant as a badge for those who have come here to stay rather than being on for a short time then to leave never to be seen again (which used to be a problem with the newby award). It also ensures that everybodies contributions to the GOF will be recognized. I'm afraid there is a certain lack of interest in this award (seeing that only five out of 20 members who were entitled to add the member of 2007 award to their signature decided to do so), but I still consider it a nice way to express appreciation to those who have come to stay
