Yes, that's a new Pokemon!
|
Am I the only one seeing this? The smilies, the character rankings and several avatars. All gone! Where are they? Seriously, am I the only one who sees them missing here? |

Try to clear out your cache! I just did the same (just to make sure), and I can see all images just fine.

Cleaned it out and they're STILL gone. I even did a virus scan earlier today and that didn't solve it. Edit: Oh wait! I try Google Chrome, and everything is okay. Hmm. Interesting. |

Its a code break with invision. A farthing wood forum I was on was having this same trouble, its one of the few problems invision won't fix. Not sure why. Does it show the image like a dead link would? |

Same version I am using without any of the problems. What else might be a cause for this? |

Its invision having a code break; an admin on another forum told the forum about this some time back. Its been going on for some time, internet explorer and firefox both have this problem. I've had this happen to me in the past. I just refresh the page and the images are there. Have you tried internet explorer? |

I'm having no issues with Google Chrome or Firefox. Might it depend on whether or not the person is viewing the GOF through z7.invisionfree.com/thegangoffive/ or gangoffive.net I always use our web address and not the invision address. |

Check whatever anti-virus you have and make sure you've added this site to its filter for the web protection. And if you have any third-party firewall of sorts, make sure to have it fully allow the viewing of this site. If those don't work, then see if you have any add-ons on Firefox that MIGHT just be blocking the images on this forum. |

I checked the invision address, I see all the images there too. I use the new address, but I have no problems with the other one. |

Okay, I reinstalled Firefox and it fixed the problem. I can now see the images. ![]() Now, to find the culprit. EDIT: It's hard to say what caused it, but the 4Shared Toolbar I had seems to be the likely suspect. Don't ask how, but that was apparently interfering with the images on here. |

Yeah, toolbars are junk, searching for stuff. That doesn't surprise me a toolbar was causing trouble. |

Man, I hate toolbars. They'll fight tooth and nail to stay on your computer once you download them too. I downloaded freecorder at one time in the hopes it would make it easy to download Youtube videos, but it just became a pain, so I tried to delete it. I've removed it from my list of programs, regularly delete it from my task manager, but all I've seemed to do is remove any way of reaching the program, its still here. Every time new software updates pop up, freecorder version 2.34 is there, and it drives me nuts. ![]() AVG toolbar is a pain too; switched my default search engine to Yahoo and refuses to let me switch back to Google; if I click Google it just switches it back to Yahoo.
