Yep, just like it says in the topic title: do you read Manga?
What sort of manga do you like?

I was quite skeptical at first since reading manga was not something that I was interested or felt to read, but after months of pestering from my sibling I gave in, mainly to shut her up :lol and read Death Note. That was okay until they killed off the bes character of the series.:(

I am ashamed to admit that I have read World of Warcraft manga but they were pretty interesting, so perhaps it is not really shameful.:p

And finally I have finished the last volume of Return to the Labyrinth. Too much of Toby and some minor characters but it is nice that the editors kept Jareth's character.

You bet!

After I got interested in Elfen Lied, which I still am, I was wondering about the many plot holes in the series that the show didn't explain. So, one day I heard that there was a manga about it and had to check it out for myself. I typed it up on google and it brought me to this site where you can read manga online and read all of it there. After that, manga has captivated me ever since, well, besides anime.

What genre of it do I like? Hmm...not really sure, I guess I can read any book as long as it has a good plot line and characters.

The most recent manga I have finished was Maximum Ride Volume Three, and I'm still reading the series. ;)

I'm not into Manga. I prefer books like Watership Down. I never really have been in to Anime or Manga movies, tv series, or books.

Yes, that's a new Pokemon!
I do read Manga sometimes.

What I have read so far:

Fruits Basket: A sort of guilty pleasure of mine. I know it's more meant for girls, but I couldn't help but enjoy the intreging story behind it. To be honest, it's quite enjoyable because of it.

The Yu-gi-oh! Series: I enjoy the original Japanes Anime, so I checked out the Manga to see how it compares. All I'll say is, quite a dark turn it takes.

Pokemon: This is the most recent series I have gotten into. Each has it's own take on the world of Pokemon that the Anime made so famous. They're quite good and try to convince the reader that the Pokemon World is real, and does a good job of it. To be honest, they bring EVERY fanfiction that has tried this to their knees in comparasion.

I haven't read much else. Anything else, I pretty much drop because it doesn't interest me by the first few chapters. I'll see what else I can enjoy, though I can't make any guarentees.

See ya later!

I forgot about that since I haven't seen it since I was 10 or so. I didn't find it that dark compared to Yugioh! The Movie: Pyramid of Light.

"Maggots will soon feast on your flesh as they did mine for thousands of years."

That's probably the darkest line in the entire series, spoken by the main antagonist in the movie, a mummy.

But other than Yugioh!, I haven't seen any animes. Its been five years since I even touched the videos I have (if I still have them that is), and I've forgotten about that series entirely. :crazy

EDIT: There's also a line with near-profanity in the movie: "Oh please, spare me of all your bull." As dark as the movie was, I was surprised it was only PG.

I used to a lot in school because people would notice if you had headphones on or listened to the anime on the speakers. But I prefer the anime over the manga 99% of the time. I read the full Inuyasha manga after the anime series took a nose-dive(God that pissed me off), but now that they've finally finished the anime I must say it put the manga to shame.

There is no way I could ever get into manga. I looked up some naruto manga chapters once and I was just like :x lol Seriously, I have no idea how people can jump back and forth between an anime and a manga. It's like, "hmmm, I could watch this anime on a big screen with surround sound, epic battles, and a kick*** soundtrack, or I could...scroll through some pictures and read some text..." :p

I do quite enjoy reading manga - I have the entire series of Death Note, Hellsing, Battle Royale and Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni. I've started getting into the Keroro Gunsou manga as well.
