Of all the memoirs I've read, I must say that personal favorites are Babylon's Ark: The Incredible Wartime Rescue Of The Baghdad Zoo and The Elephant Whisperer. Both books were written by a conservationist by the name of Lawrence Anthony, the owner of the Thula Thula game reserve in South Africa and both books are a worthwhile read. Babylon's Ark review: http://www.paraview.com/anthony/ The Elephant Whisperer review: http://murderiseverywhere.blogspot.com/201...-whisperer.html These people are better at explaining the books than I am. |
