There's a lot of work put into that list. Either that, or you have excellent memory. Frankly, when it comes to crying in LBT, Bruton, right now you are the most knowledgeable person in the world. Nobody researched the topic in such detail. It's hard for anyone to check the accuracy of your list without going through all the movies again. Be patient.

Thanks. I do actually have a decent memory; most times sort of stuck with me, although I don't think it was all by memory. I mean, I watch the movies a lot so I guess that's sorta cheating.

Well, I wouldn't go so far as to say that...most likely I'm the most knowledgabe person on here, though.

Alright...I've watched all the movies but 13...and am ready to do it all...

Drumroll, please...

Note: ones put in bold mean I am not 100% certain

Movie 1.

1. Littlefoot is crying when his mother is dying.
2. Littlefoot cries during the scene with Rooter.
3. Littlefoot cries when rolling in his mother's footprint.
4. Littlefoot is crying when Ducky comes up to him.
5. Ducky is crying when she said "I lost my family in the big earthshake."
6. Petrie cries after the diplodocus herd eats the leaves.
7. Littlefoot cries after the fight with Cera.
8. Cera cries after the gang saves her.
9. Ducky cries when thinking Petrie is dead.
10. Littlefoot cries when talking to the spirit of his mother.

Movie 2.

1. Ducky cries when thinking the egg got squished.
2. Chomper cries shortly after he hatches.
3. Littlefoot cries during his second fight with Cera.
4. Chomper cries in the same scene.
5. Littlefoot cries during the scene where he says goodbye to Chomper.

Movie 3.

1. Cera cries during the nightly talk with her dad.
2. Mutt cries just before the sharpteeth arrive . Just found this out upon rewatching 3. :celebrate

Movie 4.

1. Littlefoot gets tearyeyed when he finds out his grandpa is dying.
2. Littlefoot cries after talking with his grandpa.
3. Grandma has tears running down her face after Grandmas Lullaby at the end

Movie 5.

1. Ducky cries the night before the herds split up (ah man, and she'd been sober for 2 whole movies!)
2. Littlefoot's grandma sheds a tear when comforting his grandpa.
3. Ducky sheds tears when before "Always There".
4. Chomper cries after Cera discriminates him.
5. The plated sharptooth cries when he bites his tail :lol

Movie 6.

1. The unamed brachiosaurus kid cries when Doc leaves.

3. Spike cries while drawing Ducky's head in the dirt.
4. Petrie cries before "Good Inside"

6. Petrie cries when Pterano leaves.

Movie 8.

1. Ducky sheds a tear when Spike goes to spend the night with Tippy
2. Littlefoot sheds a tear when Mr. Threehorn yells at Mr. Thicknose (I'm fairly certain I was just seeing snow here.)

Movie 9.

None! :celebrate

Movie 10.

1. Littlefoot cries when he's on the ledge right before Bron comes up to him.
2. Grandma cries after "Bestest Friends"

Movie 11.

1. Cera sheds some frustrated tears after her dad talks to her.
2. Ducky, Petrie, and Spike go off like bombs. This was an apparent attempt to outdo and leave in the dust all the crying scenes in LBT I grew up with in 1-8.

Movie 12.

1. Tria cries when Tricia is born.

Thank you! :smile

All I need now is for someone to clarify if those crying scenes I wasn't sure of were crying scenes or not.

You made just one mistake. Littlefoot didn't cry when Mr.Threehorn yelled at Mr.Thicknose.

I just thought as the scene ended and he looked sad that he might be crying, but I guess I was just seeing snow.

But the rest of the ones I wasn't sure of that I put in bold, I'm right, they were crying?

"Well, yes"?

Doesn't sound totally positive, so I guess the ones I had in bold are all still "maybes"

But yes, I would like to see someone else try. I don't mean now, but at some point I'd like to see someone else try.

Again, thanks, but...for what? Doing something I wanted other people to try?

Should I feel real stupid about doing it now?

I tried. While I was recently re-watching the films I could not not notice the crying, because it has been mentioned so many times here. Your list is correct. What else do you want? If you think that compiling a list of all crying in LBT is stupid, well, put it this way: You have excellent memory of all events in LBT, which enables you to compile many such lists or recognise any scene. If you want to use that knowledge in a really productive way, write a fanfiction. I'm sure you could write a good "pure" LBT fanfic a la Malte.

Interesting. Which films were you re-watching?

And hey, I might just take your advice. :exactly
