Just thought I'd let you know that there's a chance to see Aurora borealis aka. northern lights in some areas. Should be a pretty amazing sight. Wish I can see it over here as well. Forecasts say it might be visible here but cloud coverage is being an ass right now Here's to hope to all who are watching tonight

One unfortunate thing about my current location is that it would take a very extreme geomagnetic storm (one that would cause widespread power grid failures) in order for the Aurora borealis to be seen in my neck of the woods. But for those of you in a more suitable viewing area, good luck! I'm sure that it will be one heck of a view.

I hope many do get to see it. I wonder how many will be taking pictures of it. Doubt it can be seen in this city, even if there were no clouds. |
