So I found out about this book series called the Summer King Chronicles about gryphons. being a huge fan of gryphons, I had to check it out. I downloaded all four books to my Kindle and I just finished reading the first book which is called Song of the Summer King and I'm absolutely blown away! The characters are great the story is interesting and well written. I especially like the main character because he's both complex and likable. Basically, this is the gryphon book I've been waiting for. There are other mythical creatures in the book as well such as wolves and dragons. So if you like gryphons and other mythical creatures or just fantasy in general, then I highly recommend this book series. https://www.amazon.com/Song-Summer-King-Chr...king+chronicles

I think the author did a great job of giving the gryphons in these books a unique and fascinating culture. If you have a kindle, try downloading the book. I went ahead and downloaded all four. I'm getting ready to start the second book now.

Well, I finished reading the last two books and I gotta say this was a pretty good read. Being a huge gryphon fanatic, it was quite satisfying to finally get a good fantasy series about gryphons. I'm actually kinda sad that it's over. Again, I encourage everyone to check out the Summer King Chronicals by Jess E. Owen. It's a great series that could use some more attention.

I love the characters in this series. One thing in particular that I liked is that the villains were both sympathetic and complex characters who actually meant well and had good intensions rather than being just outright evil, and the heroes genuinely try to resolve their problems without using violence.
