It's tread only on tyres, mustnt be visible, personally your better off ditching the steelies, they're too small to be low on a new car, get a set of 17s or 18s, will look the dogs and allow you to remain low without huge arch gap |

I got stopped once but just don't give them shit and be nice lol ! Bit of ass licking gets you places ! But just take to a MOT place they will tell you it's fine and that the law is tread must be within the arch. I went to regal motors on Bournemouth road and he said it was ok. but I'm sorting my wheels tomorrow. |

i don't see how you can 'camber' your rear wheels unless it's a 4motion. You will at least need camber shims (because your rear hubs aren't adjustable) and i'm not sure if richie will fit them due to tiger pikey nature. |

i think eibach do proper metal shims, but they are expensive. The cheap shims are no more than a plastic wedge you fit between your hub and rear beam. There's still no way you will get 30mm from them tho. Getting some wheels that fit will solve your problem properly tho. |

you HAVE to run shims on the rear of a mk4, and anything over -2 degrees of camber expect to buy new tyres every two months.. |
