burnett_mk2golf: I live in Sway and i went to Brock college from 2004 and left 2006, now im at So'ton Uni. Those bends are fantastic!! Have to meet up some time at the college, i sometimes drive thru to see old mates that are re-taking stuff. :wacko: |

Yea i know what you mean!!! That road from brock to hatchet pond is straight for bloody ages, and coming from hatchet pond way in the vr6 i touched 132mph across the forest!! lol and there was still more in it. I grunted the car up all the way from the hatchet pond crossroads. The girl i had in the car was shouting between 70 and 100mph, :wacko: and then when i put her in 4th gear at 101mph, she just went green and shut up until u hit that tight right bend after the straight where i popped her into 3rd gear and flew round at 65, in the wet lol!! And then she started sceaming again bless her! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: We dont talk anymore :claps: |

I know that the bhp of the golf vr6 is 176 ish standard, but mine felt quicker than my mates N reg one and pulled away all the time we raced. 130 came quickly then it continued to creep up, whereas my mates slowed accelerating sooner. No idea why tho |

haha if you go along there at about 3.20 you get stuck behind the bus id had the golf for less than a week was dropping a friend home and shot past 6 cars and the bus heading towards the 100 mark she just shut her eyes and held on to the seat belt! |

its the 1.6 and as far as im aware shes standard she gets to a hundred just takes her time shes gone to 110 and we tested her 0-60 the other day and the engine wasnt running right where it was cold and we made it 10secs so she does me fine i wanna find out about gettin the carb uprated and everything need someone to talk me through wat actually is involved and such |
