Whats the best way to get my carb working right? Ive tried playing with the screws and ive read somewhere online about the best way to tune a weber. but thats very generic. i need to know how to do it on a 1.1 but it has a 1.3 head so this might make a difference. When i follow any instructions on the internet the car just stalls. The instructions seem to be so far out! Anyone got any tips i could try? Or know anywhere i can take it for it to be done? Cheers |

What's one of those? Tried your idea matt but what is a bit weird is that with the mixture screw right in it still runs! Now unless my car uses no fuel and runs only on air :omg then i guess this shouldn't happen  Also the revs are so up and down. What could be the problem? I know i haven't cleaned my carb out so could this be my issue? It looked pretty clean so i left it. |

clean all the jets and the mouth of the carb. have you checked for any air leaks on the carb mount or inlet? if you have you will need to sort them out 1st dude. spray carb cleaner around the carb and base of carb when running if engine note changes you have a leak, make sure you unscrew idle screw to not touching lever and do the screw for mixture again. sounds like you have crap in there and when thats gone it will sort it i hope your giving it a little rev inbetween every tweek as this helps too when i get back i can come have a look, but might have to wait |
