Ive just got come POR15 to paint the wheel arches on the mk1. Well it says to use POR15 solvent/thinners or lacquer thinners to clean the brushes etc. Is this the same/equivalent to 2k thinners? |

I expect they are just trying to get you to buy there product. Is it just to clean the brushes? I'd just use what ever I have. Brushes are cheap |

Yeah i was going to get a whole load of brushes anyway! Mostly when i clean them i forget about them and they go manky anyway! I just dont think cellulose thinners which i have is going to touch the stuff. Its pretty serious stuff. They say you can even mix it with fibre glass and use it instead of resin. Also once you get it on your hands no solvent will remove it, you will have to wear it off! |
