Just bought some wheels for my girlfriends 2004 Beetle. Trying to work out what tyres I need. The wheels are these: Posted Image They are 5x112, and the car is 5x100. So I need some adapters. The wheels are 17" 7J ET43. Offset should be 38. Can anyone advise me on what size tyres to get? The original tyres for the wheels are 215/55/R17. Seen some people in the US have 235/50/R17 on a Mk4 Golf. Confused  |

For 17's on a beetle you'll need 225/45/17's Pcd adapters start from around 15mm thick which won't be a problem for a beetle. |

Will 30mm be too thick? Seen some bad reviews of 15mm ones. Quite a few 25mm or 30mm ones. |
