:( I wish I knew more French... I can read and understand but forming my own sentences is just too hard.

My French is extremely rusty, and I probably amuse the French teachers I work with when I fumble. Fairly good accent, fairly bad structuring. C'est la vie.

En tout cas, bienvenue Tiennou. :)

This may be why we say French is a "HARD" language

My mother calls French the language you go in crying and come out smiling. It's hard at the beginning but once you memorize everything it becomes easy... I'm still on the memorizing part lol. *cries*

There surely is a lot of things to memorize in French.
As for the crying part, I think it's the same with every language, but for some languages, they can be very long and tedious. Personnally, it was Spanish. I've never passed the memorizing part for some reasons <_<
I've never really liked this language either. That might be why I sucked at it.

If you're interested in French, I'm sure you will do just fine ! Be patient :)
The thing is if you got the opportunity, you need to pratice and speak French. That's what I do with English, even if I'm ashamed of my terrible accent and my vocabulary issues. Sometimes, you'll mix words up or else, but we all learn from our mistakes, don't you forget it :P

I'd like to propose you to be your teacher... But I have already tried to teach someone the basics of French, and I didn't do a very good job... So I might teach you a few things, but get you confused as well. Mostly because I don't have enough skills in English to clearly explain everything and also there are things that slip my mind

Tiennou, your English seems better then some of the Americans i know. Not that living in South Dakota, middle of the country is the best sample group. I don't mean to break any flow in this conversation but i will take this time to introduce myself.

My name is Jared, but online i usually go by Greavis Ęthelwulf or some variation.
I was Born and raised in Rapid City SD, just on the edge of the black hills home of Mount Rushmore. I grew up watching my cousin and brother play Nintendo and D&D. This led to my great interest in the story medium of games.
My neighbor introduced me to Toegoff after Dragon Age. I Play League of Legends with my friends and brother, currently lvl 24 mostly playing Warwick and Maokai. I play minecraft from time to time, which is part of the reason i only now joined the forum.
I'm a usually a shy quiet person until I'm a close friend. The internet can alleviate some of my timid nature but only in bursts like the tide. My gaming activity will likely dull in the future as I will soon move to Hawaii with my brother and go to school to study Mechanical engineering.

It's a pleasure to meet you all. -_-
