I was a bit too old for Pokemans when they first came out....So I haven't REALLY been much of a pokeman person

Neither am I, Jess. Although at school I have many friends who would happily educate me on the subject. I think just before the semester let out most of them had gotten this device that allowed them to raise their pokemon and battle others.....it reminded me of those giga pets from years ago.

Why yes... I do practice necromancy, sparking a discussion about Pokemon even though myself had nothing to add. My comment was the equivalent of writing "BUMP" But because I was slightly comical I earned myself a random warning!

I recently started playing Fire red again.... for the nuzlocke challenge... I found it easier to just grind my charmander 10 levels higher than the gym pokemons....

Also Monstar, you can NOT be too old for pokemon..

What I meant was, when pokemon arrived here in Finland I was already in jr high (högstadiet) and so it wasnt ok for me to like pokemon (for social reasons you see :P). I remember my half brother playing it a lot and I wished I could too, but I didn't have money to buy pokemon cards or the games so I just had to let it go. That's why I was never that much into pokemans, I just simply couldnt. Now is a different matter tho :P

ah.. well, I'm currently in 9th grade and it's socially ok for me to play the pokemon games and such but if I ever asked someone if they wanted to play the card game... well...

When I was in middleschool I had Pokemon Red and Yellow. I didn't understand the huge craze over it, but I thought the games were alright. Then didn't play any for pretty much all of highschool and my adult life. Though just recently I was bored and downloaded Pokemon Ruby and played it a little last night.

I played Pokemon in primary and it was a pretty big thing then. I even collected the cards. Lots of the cards. Those boxes full of cards will make me rich in about 40 years.

I sort of picked up the card game once or twice. But I was much more interested in Yu-Gi-Oh.
