I have tryed almost every setup in regards to the proporties, Is their some sort of download or somthing that could fix this? System Specs Windows 7 64-bit AMD Athlon ll X4 630 Quad-Core Processor 6GB DDR3 system memory 1TB herd drive NVIDIA GeForce 9100 graphics |

1. Did you check for any game patches? 2. Google is your friend. I'll look around and edit this post with some links. 3. We require additional Pylons. 4. ??????? 5. Profit. |

Are the rainbows only during the cinematics, or also on the UI and menus and maybe slightly on some units? |

OK, first try starting the game, then alt-tabbing out several times. try up to 10. If it doesn't fix the problem, try the following. keep in mind that it may not work still and you have to change stuff back to try any other fixes i might find. And still, make sure you're fully patched. Right click on desktop, click screen resolution. (keep it up, don't minimize it.)Start windows media player (keep it up, don't minimize it.)right click on starcraft shortcut, chose compatibility tab. Click "Change settings for all users. check compatibility mode, Windows xp service pack 3.(or sp2 on vista) check all under settings. (256 color, resolution, visual theme, desktop composite and high DPI settings.) |

Thank you the gamefaq's worked out. make a txt file with the lines taskkill /f /IM explorer.exe "C:\Program Files\Starcraft\StarCraft.exe" pause start explorer.exe rename to Starcraft.bat and run the file you just saved I figured I would post it hear just in case anyone else has the same issue. This solution will close down the ability to open any new windows or applications as long as you have starcraft running, although If you have the windows already open you should be able to ult tab to them. PS: "C:\Program Files\Starcraft\StarCraft.exe" re-wright this line to match the path to your starcraft game |

Glad to help. Now I have nostalgia. If only the disc wasn't broken into pieces. |

if you still have the disk, even though it be broken you can legally download a copy from the internet. It wouldn't be infringing Copy write laws because you have proof that you own the game. |

That is true. I have backups of all my games kept in an airtight fire/waterproof safe just in case the inevitable happens and my original copies get melted by a meteor strike. |
