Notice how everyone is more apt to give during that season? The problem with this, is that it localizes the majority's concern for situations to that season. Though, even if once a year you give, that's still something. Religious beliefs aside, it really is a good time to spend with your family and/or friends, and share a bond of mutual affection. I know dysfunctional families exist, and forcing members of said families into one room to pretend to get along is not an enjoyable event for anyone. The focus should be being around those you truly care about, and those who truly care for you. And the food. 1 word presents
